Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

For those of you having the fraud screen, do this -

Use a VPN
Different credit card #
Add a fake apartment # to your address (if you live in a house)

This has worked for me in the past.

I was going throgh the same thing as you. I have spent least 5 hours to get an wonderful agent willing to give me the help I need and because of his attitude, other line agent helped to port out the phone #. I was on the phone for about hour with both agents. This much efforts the agent need to spend.
So your saying your time is worth very little. For $30 more, you could get this phone from Cricket. You spent 5 hours on the phone to save $30.

What does metro account mean exactly? There is no metro account for a first time order. In my case even one order didn't go through. Tried all different variations but nothing worked. For the 1st order, you initially don't have an account with Metro.
Clearly they are blocking some other way.
I agree. They should not advertise it as 'available' if this deal is no longer available - that's false advertising.

May be same port-in number used.

I'd rather say their flagging mechanism is completely a black hole: I have tried so many different combinations of:

IPs, browsers, incognito, CC info, shipping info, port number, lowercase/uppercase, phone call...

All above the porting process seemed to work, but all ended up with "your security is important to us..." message.

Policy is if you don't complete your port in 14 days you lose the discount. Phones is returnable for 14 days. Is no one concerned that if they can not complete their port that they will be charged an extra $145?

Getting error at the port in step with GV. Any help/tip. GV number is already unlocked by paying $3 and I am using 10 number as account number with voicemail pin.
Sorry, we are currently experiencing technical issues. Please try again.

Apple increased the trade-in credit/gift card to $195 for the iPhone 13.
I haven't done an apple trade in in years.
do they plug up the phone to run a diagnostic on it?

Today the port in gods smiled upon me, I had to use a numberbarn, different browser, disabled my piHole and a different card but all that is worth it no set foot into any of their scammer ridden stores. 😤🤬

Hope 1 yr from now they polished their system and they can give customers a direct answer to why the system flags you.

I mean, it is intended to be an anti-fraud system, regardless of how well it works. If they told you why the system flags you to make it easier to correct or circumvent, that would defeat the purpose of the system. To be clear, I am not accusing you or anyone of fraud, and obviously their system could be vastly improved, but the obfuscation is a feature, not a bug.
