Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

Since google voice and visible won't work anymore, what's the cheapest way to port in for metro nowadays?

EDIT: after reading the comments on this thread, I see that many people are reporting that a google voice number can be ported over to metro again (like the good old days).

I used Number Barn. Phone would voice call, send messages, receive messages. But it would not receive voice calls. Had to call in and they fixed it.
I think it's half working port-in process since the # is considered as "land line" .. but at least your order came thru.

If your Metro Moto Stylus is inactive, you can transfer service from your i13 to the Stylus pSIM.
..
No, I can't. I would do that if I could. The stylus had a red pocket sim, which has been placed in a new phone. I have no idea where any metro sim may be that came with it back in 2023.

Separate issue since you seem familiar with all of this, any idea if it's better, if trading this iphone at the google store, to get instant credit and check the box to tell them to adjust the value if the need to on the trade, OR is it better to uncheck the box and tell them to send me the phone back if the trade value is less?

I only want another pixel 10a because off the $305 trade value. Also put it in the cart with a coupon, had unchecked the box originally,a nd it looks liek there is no instant trade value now. If I delete, I gotta contact CS first because the code for money off was from an ad that is now gone.

I traded in iphone11's to Google Fi for Samsung S22 and S23 a few years ago. I checked the box to allow them to adjust the value if needed. They credited me the advertised value. My iphones were like new so I had no worries. Other people traded in iphones in B and C grade and still got the advertised value. So, I wouldn't worry about checking that box.

Thanks. I don't know what to do, I can't go back and check the box without deleting and starting over. And the $50 coupon code from teh Play ad disappeared as soon as I activated my new pixel 10a phone. I'd had the $50 code in my cart before, deleted it on the first purchase of the 10a when I got a $100 code, and it was still avail to put back in when I decided to get a second 10a with this iphone trade. So now to change the setting on the trade, I have to contact CS andhope they will manually do it for me or apply the $50 code for me if I need to do it myself. I really don't know what to do, I didn't realize that ad would go away.

Do I just pay full price and let them refund me? It's not giving me instant credit on the trade now. Maybe it wouldn't either way because it's my second purchase, I don't know.

I was just wondering if anyone, who that that dreaded "security" msg order failure, has tried adding just a cheap BYOD voice or tablet line. I believe BYOD line can be added successfully, and if done in store, it should successfully complete the id verification. What are the chances that after that new device orders might go through successfully?

Just an idea, and will be adding the cheapest possible line in store soon and will see what happens, as long as they don't try to scam me out of hundreds of dollars to add a BYOD $10 line.

Finally able to order a Samsung Watch 7 after setting up a new account in a friend's name and after an iPhone 13 was delivered.
Got a shipping notification for the watch. But the activate button is greyed out on the order detail page, which means I can't order anything else. That is not what I have experienced with phone or tablet orders. Anyone else who has ordered a watch from Metro? Do I need to wait until it's physically delivered and I activate the cell service? Thanks!
EDIT: The activation button became available on the day of delivery.

Did you ship the item to your house or your friends?

Her house - technically a new customer (if that's what you wanted to know).

Yes all features work. no special reboot. Just choose Metro 5G in menu after insert Sim with mksd
How did you handle the esim that's already using the imei? Does the mksd override that and make the hard sim the primary line?

Just checking to see if it's just plug and play. I am trying to not lose the esim when I put a physical sim in.

I have an older mksd that I purchased a year ago, so I will be trying that.

I just bought 2 iPhone 13's from Cricket, think it's possible to activate those and then immediately port out the numbers to this Metro deal? My understanding is I have no commitment to Cricket other than what I've already paid, and hopefully the cricket numbers are more successful in porting to Metro than damn GV or numberbarn.

I ported in two TF phone numbers to get the two i13's. It's true that TF lists the line as "inactive" as soon as Metro submitted the correct port-in info. But Metro has the phone number "reserved" at that time, and the i13 got activated with the port-in TF number without problems when it was delivered.
Thank you again. I completed a number barn order today. Question, to order a second iphone or the samsung watch, can I use all of the same information or do I need to change everything again. FYI, I initially went through the process, it said the porting information was wrong and would I like to try again. I did but when I was filling in name/address/email information again, it said the email I had tried using was already taken. So I put a dot in the middle of the gmail account and it took it.

You need to activate the 1st phone first so it can receive a security code texted to it by Metro to log into your account. In your account, you use the Add Phone, Add Tablet, Add Watch, etc to order the next device. The name, shipping address, email will be the same; you can change the credit card. If the next device requires a port in, of course you'll have to provide a different port-in number, and Port PIN.

Has anyone been been able to get this deal for like 3 iPhone 13s, then been able to trade in Apple Store for like 3 $200 gift cards hassle free? I might want to try this with the upcoming MacBook neo
