Ok your account number is just your GV phone number and your pin is your "call to listen" pin that you set up in the settings of GV. You first have to pay $3 to unlock the GV number.

Porting and failed attempts to order the phone. FYI if you go through the last step and Metro reserved the number you are porting in. But you failed, their payment screen and your order did not go through. Be advised that that number(s) that you attempted to port (no atter how many different phone numbers) are locked in Metro Port Reservation. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THAT NUMBER to process new order using that same # until you call Metro and ask to be transferred over to the porting department and ask them to delete the port. You will also not be able to port it anywhere else until they delete the port reservation. So, all you folks that tried to process a zillion orders after your initial order failed it will never work (even if you fix why your payment didn't go through) until YOU CALL METRO to fix your PORT. With all that said the port dept will want to verify you and the easiest way is for them to send you a SMS to your metro phone so your you don't have a Metro phone working well welcome to the struggle bus have a seat and relax your gong to be on the phone with Metro for some time. Please know this address multiple attempts at porting the same phone number not all the other reasons orders fail on the payment screen. All I can say on that one is , Don't use VPN, don't use discover, don't use a virtual number, wait 48 not 24 hours for your last order attempt to clear out of their system and if you are a religious person…pray

The short version, you must call Metro to make sure any/all the number(s) you are porting over that previously succeed Port Reservation but failed Payment are not locked now to metro reservation once locked to metro they will not work with a new order or another wireless company. This deal is killing me softly, now I remember why I avoided Metro for so long

Since google voice and visible won't work anymore, what's the cheapest way to port in for metro nowadays?

EDIT: after reading the comments on this thread, I see that many people are reporting that a google voice number can be ported over to metro again (like the good old days).

How did you handle the esim that's already using the imei? Does the mksd override that and make the hard sim the primary line?

Just checking to see if it's just plug and play. I am trying to not lose the esim when I put a physical sim in.

I have an older mksd that I purchased a year ago, so I will be trying that.
iphone13 have 2 IMEI, so both esim and psim can work at same time. mksd just trick the locked phone that the psim is Metro sim. It doesn't override

Ok great. I'll have to give it a try when I get my physical sim from my service provider. My MKSD is a 5.1 so fingers crossed that will work.

Has anyone been been able to get this deal for like 3 iPhone 13s, then been able to trade in Apple Store for like 3 $200 gift cards hassle free? I might want to try this with the upcoming MacBook neo
Traded in couple of iPhone 13 for $180 each last week

Do you mind posting which seller you bought it from? There is an orangish packaging and blue one, not sure if there is difference.
Bought on AliExpress a year ago. It 's orange package.

Thank you again. I completed a number barn order today. Question, to order a second iphone or the samsung watch, can I use all of the same information or do I need to change everything again. FYI, I initially went through the process, it said the porting information was wrong and would I like to try again. I did but when I was filling in name/address/email information again, it said the email I had tried using was already taken. So I put a dot in the middle of the gmail account and it took it.
So you did successfully order a phone with Numberbarn port-in today, online? Good news. I tried to have another phone (or a watch7) as 2nd line but it's flagged. I intend to open a new act with NBarn. Wish me luck. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Yes I did. Turns out that both time I was rejected it was because I had entered the account number or pin number incorrectly. Was pretty sure I entered it correctly but this time cut and pasted. Good luck!

You need to activate the 1st phone first so it can receive a security code texted to it by Metro to log into your account. In your account, you use the Add Phone, Add Tablet, Add Watch, etc to order the next device. The name, shipping address, email will be the same; you can change the credit card. If the next device requires a port in, of course you'll have to provide a different port-in number, and Port PIN.
Thanks. Thought so. Metro does not always make things easy!

I think there's a limit of two per model, and a limit of 3 discounted phones per account. Early in this deal, I got one Moto G Stylus 2025 and two i13s. Now, getting two i13s is difficult, and three i13s is impossible.

Separate issue since you seem familiar with all of this, any idea if it's better, if trading this iphone at the google store, to get instant credit and check the box to tell them to adjust the value if the need to on the trade, OR is it better to uncheck the box and tell them to send me the phone back if the trade value is less?

I only want another pixel 10a because off the $305 trade value. Also put it in the cart with a coupon, had unchecked the box originally,a nd it looks liek there is no instant trade value now. If I delete, I gotta contact CS first because the code for money off was from an ad that is now gone.
I would NOT ever check the box to accept the adjusted value. There are times, although admittedly rare, when Google's trade in partner evaluates the wrong phone or does an incorrect assessment (happened to me once 6 years ago). In that case, they would just give you (substantially) reduced $$ or no trade in ($0 value - usually with a claim that battery is swollen) WITHOUT returning your phone. In fact this very option of allowing the phone to be sent back was added because a lot of irate users demanded feedback from Google after their trade in value was nowhere close to expected.
In any case, unchecking the box to not accept the adjusted value should NOT affect your instant trade in. I had done one for the Pixel 10a and had no issues doing an instant trade in. Also even if the account does NOT have an instant trade in option, one is still better off unchecking the box to accept the adjusted trade in value.

thank you for the answer. It didn't give me an instant trade-in, though. Don't know if it's because I unchecked the trade box, or because I had already bought a 10a earlier and got an instant trade value. In the first order, I forgot to uncheck the box.

The concern for me is, on this second order, if I don't get any trade value on that iphone, then that's $305 more I pay on a second phone that I'm only getting because it's a sweet deal at this rate. I am wondering if it say got scratched by them and they decided to knock a little off, I'd take it. The issue is the damn 15-day return window on the 10a, when they may not have evaluated the trade by then, and I may get stuck paying a whole lot more for a phone than I ever pay, on a phone we don't really need now - but at this price, I'm getting it for next year when my husband will need one.

Can you just use a Numberbarn number on the Park plan? Did you have to upgrade it for calling and/or texting first? I was just wondering if the plan would affect the portability of it

I talked to a metro rep rep after successfully doing this for my first phone. I'm trying to add 2 more lines to get the same deal but they said I have to do it separately? Like I can only order another one, wait for it to arrive successfully activate that one, only then can I place another order for another one and repeat? Is there any way to order multiple at once?
