YMMV if you have a current Roku account, you can get the promo on ONE item (but can order up to 3 of that item at the promo price). I was able to come back to make orders on another different item at the promo price.
If you have an expired CC and try to add a new CC, you will NOT get the promo price. YMMV I was able to add a new CC as an ALTERNATE payment and my orders have gone through with the promo price.

We just bought TCL tv from Costco and immediately setup Roku on it, I am not even going to entertain the TV OS (we skipped wifi setup, the TV is not even directly connected to the internet) because I am that pleased with Roku. Hope you find what works for you! The basic HD stick at $10 is a great entry level test. I love the BT audio capability of the Roku Streambar. I even use it when not connected to a TV (though, you need to connect to a TV for initial setup).

In my case the Roku Premier I own from 5 years ago is not much different from the current $15 Roku Streaming Stick Plus.
Same RAM and the processors they use are old and not a notable upgrade. https://en.wikipedia.or
Apple TVs are the top tier for streaming devices and privacy but cost more. So this is not a bad deal. The Fire Sticks use faster chips and more RAM but they spy even harder than Roku does and probably feed data to the Amazons AI.

Other than that benefit, Roku blows any other TV OS out of water (well AppleTV might be an exception but it's in the different league...lol )!
My 4 Roku monitors share the same remote and turn on/off at the same time...lol
Since then, I've been able to place multiple orders with my old CC listed (no longer any good) and payment going to my alternate payment option.
