Do note there is a 30 day return window offered through ebay but the item does not come with Acer warranty or support. The warranty as stated in the listing is through AllState, so it may be a deal breaker for some CC like AMEX.

Bought this and returned it via Acer Ebay due to having the worlds worst speakers, screen is awesome but I would get a G14 or G16 over this for adjustable refresh rate and the speakers alone.

on reddit few have claimed to have flashed 16 bios on 16s to increase GPU power draw, not sure how it would pan out....just sharing the info

It is pretty straight forward, you download the 16 version and just flash it. Nothing special.

On Reddit someone flashed the vbios which is specific to the GPU and while the Nvidia control panel said it was 140w tho it was still running at 115W, the person was still using the 230W charger that came with the laptop and not the more powerful 330w charger from the non S laptop. They did report it hit full power draw at 115w more consistently after flashing it however. I have not tried this on my laptop because there hasn't been any definitive confirmation this helps. I have a Llano cooler so it could handle the higher temps but others of reddit were saying the higher power might burn out the VRMs on the S laptop if they used different ones than the non S laptop
