It's not better than all other store bought pasta, but it's definitely better than a lot. Bronze cut pasta creates a rougher texture that holds onto sauce better than super smooth pasta.

"Homemade" do you think this is made in someone's kitchen?

Normally can find this on sale for 2.50/lb at my local grocery store, this is a decent deal for bronze die cut with a variety of shapes.

This beats $1 barilla/ronzoni/prince/store brand because the die cut makes the pasta surface rougher, which allows for better sauce adhesion.

I can get DeCecco for a similar price at Restaurant Depot, but only if I buy a 20lb case (of 5lb x4 bags), and you don't get as much variety (penne, linguini/spaghetti, mezze rigatoni if you're lucky).

Nice! I bought 3 spaghetti and 3 fissuli.

I usually do sphagett Mondays with my neighbor J'Bisco so now the hard part will be deciding which type of pasta to use!!!

Good brand of sauce that is worth the extra money, but there is virtually no difference in pasta from manufacturer to manufacturer. Even what you can homemake is going to be, best case, identical to what you could have bought at the store for $0.88/lb
Definitely not true. Not all flour is the same quality. Cheap pasta tastes like cheap pasta

True, but when a company like walmart can leverage hundreds of thousands of lbs, they can rebrand any quality they want under their label. Ive had 2 major store brands that taste similar to premium, Sam's sells barillo brand by the case. Many of the pastas are somewhat similar but they change with fat content, type of noodle, and thickness of cut. The quality of the wheat isn't always worth a $1 premium.

Price comes out a bit more for me when adding 3 with S&S. I think Aldi and the Walmart Bettergoods has a pasta that is just as good for about $2.

My last raos Slickdeals purchase resulted in 16 smashed jars of sauce dumped on top of 8 boxes of vegan Mac and cheese and 4 aquaphor lip balms.

Most overpriced pasta on this planet. Taste no better than Barilla that cost $0.99

Please tell me how this is so much better than other store bought pasta?
for one, it's made in Italy therefore it's not full of glysophate. I've never had RAO's, I usually buy De Cecco, but this appears to have the right color for good pasta. more white than yellow indicating it wasnt dried too fast at too high heat.
