Best price so far. But i think its still priced a bit high. I think once these start making it into combo kits the price will come down to about $100-120.

If you just want some now its not a bad price but I think if you wait 6 months to a year they will be way cheaper and easier to get.

Reposting from my comment on the Amazon deal for these batteries...

I don't feel like the 5ah PS are really that great with a low power-to-size ratio; the 1.7ah PS power-to-size ratio are pretty awesome and I use them often.
That 5.0PS has gone on ridiculous sale a few times and really skews it, but I think the 1.7PS is a good deal around $40.

Although I haven't personally seen any reviews/testing on the 3.5PS yet, I feel at double the capacity [and size] this is NOT QUITE the price that I'm willing to pay to try it, but getting close. I'd maybe $120 for a pair or $70 each... At some of the smaller sizes or specific types it's hard to compare & justify the $10/ah gold standard (that seems to be slipping anyways).

I have the 1.7ps, 3.5ps, 5ps and 8pp.

The 3.5 is a goldilocks size and DeWalt knows it so they're not discounting it as often.

Honestly rarely use my 5PS now that I have the 3.5

Just received my order from HD. Have them charging now but great size compared to the 1.7 and 5 models. My collection is complete...for today.
Will see how they hold up with a full charge.

These are the battery sweetspot for Dewalt but finding them at reasonable prices is hard. The 4 Ah Powerpack is significantly bigger in size than this for only a minor increase in run time. Additionally, these 3.5 Ah, unlike the 5 Ah powerstack can work with other tools using an adapter. These should be like $50-$70 each though but the only place you can find them at that price is on eBay where you are taking risks with counterfeiters.
