Is the 8.0 worth the $100? Bought the set with Forge 12.0, 8.0, and rapid charger for $279 yesterday.

I'd say so, it's tough to find 8.0 forge battery for $100 bucks without having to do a hack. This 12.0 deal is good for someone who only wants 1 battery and don't want to spend the extra $100. But in the end of the day the 12.0 & 8.0 is an overall better deal if you need 2 batteries.

Just got my 12,8 and rapid charger yesterday. Charged both batteries yesterday. Ca't wait to get my use out of them!

I don't want the extra weight of the 12ah. I wish they have a deal for two 6ah, two 8ah or one 6ah one 8ah but all they have are one 8ah and one 12ah.

A lot of ppl like the 8Ah forge it's lighter and somewhat equi to the 12ah non forge. How long have you had that 9Ah battery?

I've had two 9ah since around 2017. One no longer works as of last year and my second one is not holding a charge as long as it used to.
