There is another deal with a similar requirement. I believe it's a Motorola moto g 2024 or something. Has tons of comments. Some people were successful but I think they had to talk to several people in chat before they could cancel

Sounds like this might be hit or miss, I will pass since canceling is not straight forward as per your comment.

The company called straight talk had these where you can get two of them for $150 and it's now just been long enough 60 plus days to where I was able to migrate them to my T-Mobile account and with zero issue.

Just note that that policy changed in January of 2026. It is now 365 days instead of 60. And I believe you got the 2025 moto g stylus while this is the 2024 (mostly the same except 6 gen 1 vs 6 gen 3 snapdragon processors inside).

But the one sold by Best Buy is factory unlocked so it can be used with any carrier right away, no 60 or 365 day wait to worry about. Not really fair to compare it to ST's locked version.

It was easy to cancel for me, only took a few minutes. After I requested cancellation via chat, the CS agent told me to check my email where he sent a cancellation link. I went to my email inbox and clicked the link he sent then cancellation was completed.
