I have the A229 Pro 2 channel. No complaints here, and it has great video quality. I used an adapter which taps into power from my rain sensor in rearview mirror housing. No need to mess with fuses this way, and a clean look for install.
Anyone have this dashcam for their F150 lightning or Mach E? I know there's a specific cam (fitcamx) that is nearly plug in play, but this one is much better.

If you can install a fuse tap in either of those cars it doesn't matter which dashcam it is, or if you have a USB/12v accessory outlet(cig) and just use that. Although those are way more expensive cars than mine so I'd be extra careful if you're planning to hardwire.
The VIOFO app for A129PLUS is a trash. Maybe the camera is too old for this. The videos play only for like 2 seconds in app and gets stuck. If I play the video with the MICROSDCARD on my computer, it works fine.
I gave up on the app. Useless.

To share my experience, I own the t130 that the don't sell anymore and recently bought an a229 pro 3ch. The mini screen is kind of a must so you know your thing is working. No issues with the à229 yet and I do have it hooked up to power using a fuse kit.
The t130 was good for the first year or two but doesn't have a screen. You have to use the app on your phone to connect and view. You can watch playback through it as well on the app but it's slow. My main issue is I had a failure and didn't realize because it would turn on but for some reason the front camera just died. I never touched the thing as is mounted to my dash but it just failed. I couldn't get it replaced as it's been over the warranty period so be for warned that I don't have much faith these last even 5 years. I do have the a229 as of a couple months ago though so we'll see how long it lasts.
