12-30V capability. Wire them in series and put them on an electric golf cart. Slick!

So they're not good for a car when you need an extra bit of light ?

Sure they are, cars run on 12v and so do these. We use them on the headache racks on our trucks for bed/surrounding area lights.
I have a pair underslung on the rear of my quad (also 12v) for backup lights/emergency lights, they are very bright.

I replaced an old, dim incandescent light bulb (similar to a car headlight) on my snowblower's handle, with these and an AC to DC rectifier bridge (~$2). Now I can see everything when blowing snow at night. Definitely worth the $ and effort.

I use these with tool batteries and other stuff. For outdoor use, the internal screws are fine, but the screws on the mounting brackets all got rusty in less than a year. If I recall, they're also weird, like metric threads with English wrenches.

They are still nice budget lights, unless you have an alternative.

If you have a better deal to suggest we're all ears. Otherwise, I'm not sure what point you are attempting to make.

Back to the deal related comments; this comes with no wiring or switch, correct? Thinking about this vs https://slickdeals.net/f/19385079-21-06-2-pc-nilight-60w-4-flood-spot-combo-led-light-pods-w-12-wiring-harness-kit-at-amazon on my zero turn. 60W seems like overkill but just the switch is likely to cost me $4 elsewhere.

You can get the whole harness/relay/switch for 8-12 bucks usually, so the price isnt much different.

Super helpful, thanks a million and rep!

P.S. I especially like the idea of that adhesive mount version. Would add a lot more flexibility where put the switch.
