Isn't that base price? Except if you order through google store you get $35 credit.

You're getting a $35 extra band on Amazon vs a $35 google store credit (that you would probably purchase a band with). So same price if you plan on getting the extra band.

It won't. And Google has no intentions of coming out with a bicep band in the short term either.

But there will definitely be third party options available. Likely VERY soon too.

Agreed. Google is missing out by not having an arm band. I have a 3rd party arm band for my screenless amazfit and this fitbit air is going to have 10x the customer base.

What's the advantage of placing it on your arm?

It's more comfortable for some people. Doesn't get in the way of gloves or wrist protection or whatever might be in or on your hands.

Gotcha, thanks. This'll be my first tracker like this so I'll probably give both positions a try.

I had nearly ordered one through Google due to the credit. I'll probably order through Amazon and take the extra band

not to detract from the deal but is anyone else tryna wait for the 3rd party bands that will come out in the following months? Can't imagine a few silicon bands being more than 10$
