I know with ASUS gpu it starts when the first person who bought it gets the item, but not certain about the monitors. The listing shows 3 years warranty in several spots so I took screenshots and will save them I guess.

I also know if you can register the product with asus and you need to make a claim, dont tell them it was a open box item. they only care about the s# and what their system says. They do not ask for receipts for warranty claims.

That's my experience as well, on the few Asus products I've had issues with, the start of the warranty process was entering the S/N on their website. Receipts never came into play whatsoever. From a quick glance it appears to be exactly the same today.

good timing, my acer predator backlight is beginning to go... 3 yr warranty is solid, probably get an extended warranty this time.

~138 PPI vs ~109 PPI when comparing 32" 4k to 27" 2k. I think that's enough extra PPI to mitigate the annoyances that comes with text rendering on OLED panels. That's the only gripe I have against using OLED panels for productivity tasks. Burn-in is something to be mindful as well but honestly it's not as big as a deal as it used to be. Just be mindful of your usage and look at the Monitors Unboxed burn-in videos to get a feel for what "forced" burn-in results in (it's really not that bad but it's still a thing.)

I got one like new in past for much more. Like new usually equals opened but never used, which is what I got. Essentially a new monitor w/ the tape taken off the box.

I love this monitor. Checks all the boxes for me & the smaller aspect ratio modes make playing FPS like I was on my old 27in.
