Even after trade in, Eero Pro 7 is around this price for only a 2-pack. Is the Eero premium mostly fluff or is this a no-brainer given the price difference?

Quick update. Costco had deco63 be11000 for $339 after $60 off. In bought this to upgrade to take advantage of my 2gb plan upgrading from Orbi 750.
1-2 weeks of use and I am returning it. I had at least 4 occasions where internet dropped for no reason. Never had this issue with wifi6 Orbi and am back to it. I have heard there are issues with wifi7 systems even with firmware updates.
May just be me but thought I give my input.

I upgraded from an Asus GT6 system to the BE65 about two weeks ago. Its been rock solid other than the oddity of the phone app being more full featured than the web interface. I price matched this BE63 on Best Buy for the slightly better BE65, so give it a go, YMMV.

Does this still use the DECO app or is there a newer version? I have the Costco version of the X5700 and the Deco app is pretty limiting, as is the web-interface. Parental controls are behind a paywall too.
Mine are going on probably 4 years old, and had been running pretty well until recently. Sparse on any sort of updates for them. Some features just don't work: IoT network only runs from the main Deco and not from the satellites. Wireless throughput has been less than expected (400ish), even with wired backhaul. The app makes it pretty limited in terms of setting advanced features (like channel width on the 2.4ghz network) or even forcing what channel to run them on.

I like their wifi7 deco mesh more than orbi, the only issue my units need to be rebooted weekly to keep solid and high speed wireless connection otherwise WiFi speeds will go down dramatically - to down to 60% from what I pay for. Firmware upgrades don't seem like fix anything maybe because I have very congested WiFi area.

Just a thought, would I get away without buying a 2.5gb switch for wired backhaul because of the 4 ports per device?

Sorry about your experience; I also have the system from CostCo and it's been rock solid for me. The three units are connected wired though, so maybe that helps keep it stable.

Costco had this for $100 firesell. It has been rocksolid now for 2 months. Not a single drop. Only using 2 out of the 3. Wireless backhaul. Around 18 devices connected (camera, doorbell, smart plugs etc) no problem

Using wifi 7 on 1gb fios i get max speed on my iphone upload and download

I recent update on these, for the v2.x at-least (so I assume the v3.x also, but the FW is initial so I don't know), added a backup WAN function. Basically they can hop onto a hotspot WiFi and use that as a backup internet. This is one feature that I was sad that I lost when I upgraded to these, but now that it is added back in that's great. I only did the built-in 'Test' of the feature....but I haven't yet had an real outage to see how it holds up to the previous setup I had.

Depends on how many wired devices you connect. But if you're only connecting the 3 then yes. If you decide to use a switch, make sure it sits behind the main router or wired back haul won't work

Everyone talks about triband and mbps specs but what's the actual power of the signal. Why isn't that a spec they would release? I find tplink access points to have very weak signal for some reason. Is it true that some routers broadcast stronger signal than others or is it exactly same for each band for different brands. I am not happy with my X55 mesh though it's dual band.

What trade in is that? I got several routers collecting dust.
