Oddly got 8-pack of this for $4. Purchased some lavazza coffee ($21) and the 8-pack ($19), used 30% coupon and 40% coupon, S&S, total $17 ($4+$13), free shipping (no prime). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NCXN0MV

There is a low sodium version on the same page for the same exact price with the coupon. I wish I had seen it before I used the coupon on the regular version. I'm afraid if I cancel the regular version I'll lose the coupon. This is high for sodium, I think it said 500 mg per can which a can is a serving. 🫪

OOPS, sorry it was the solid white ALBACORE that was low sodium - 70 mgs per can. You can use the coupon on that as well if you don't mind albacore.

You expect something from a can not to have high sodium?

I love this brand. When I was young, tuna was always in oil, then suddenly in water it was the rage. But the flavor... I found this, and I won't buy it in water again, ever.

Its a canned good that lasts for years, off course its going to be high in sodium. That being said sodium is good for you, already shown doctors were paid off to demonize salt and cholesterol results... All to sell more pills, while in fact people with high cholesterol are some of the longest living people on the planet...

That being said in for some, since its impossible to find fish in a can that does not have seed oils poured all over it!

a decent amount of that sodium will be in the oil that gets drained out. Still going to be a lot remaining, but less than .5g
