It is not as easy as you make it sound....
With USMobile, you need to look at the plan and the provider and then see what it offers you.
The 199 or 299 plan includes all taxes and fees... you can add like $25 - $30 to Mint.
For the TMOBILE network both the 199 plan and Mint use the same prioritization but mint mobile gives you better international. ANd the 299 plan has a MUCH better international and much better hotspot.
OK to answer you questions... USING TMOBILE on USMobile....
$199 using Light Speed (Tmobile) you get 10GB of HOTSPOT and 70GB of total high speed.
Mint gives you... 20GB of hotspot BUT only 50GB of highspeed. PERSONALLY, I have never needed more then 35GB.
But does not matter what anyone hates... MintMobile, Visible and USMobile are the three best prepaids IMHO. And all three have similar fees. With USMobile being the cheapest then Mint and Finally Visible.
They usually make you talk to customer service if you want to leave and they usually give you something to stay and I have heard people claim (not many) that they received this promotion even though they were a customer. They offered me 3 months of free service and I took it in the day.
But to avoid all that... I just switch between Mint and Visible and if you are so worried to have the Tmobile network then switch from Tmobile to USMobile $199 per year taxes and fees in (cheaper then Mint) and it is the identical prioritization as Mint so it should be the identical service except 10GB hotspot out of 70GB total VS Mint which is 20GB hotspot out of 50GB total and USMobile has better international usuage.

So you are not stuck... but it is PRE pay so if you pay and change your mind your are shit out of luck.
Regarding USMobile.... this is just my opinion... you have TWO choices $199 per year or $299 per year. For Tmobile's network... it does not matter which one you choose since it is the same prioritization which is the same as Mint Mobile's BUT AT&T and Verizon's priortization is too low IMHO, unless you get the $299 plan.
Regarding what you should buy... which network is the best around where you live or work... and choose that network.
And Regarding USMobile... depending on which network you decide on will determine the size of you hotspot and amount of high speed data... so it is different between networks.
Personally, I have only switched between Mint Mobile and Visible and I have done this twice. But I have no issues with USMobile. USMObile seems to be better for international data, especially the $299 per year plan.

what's really set T mobile apart from other carriers (and from MVNo) is the included INTERNATIONAL data and text. yes you could get 3rd party esim and whatnot, but be able to receive bank text and have a 15G or 5G included international data every month (unlimited at capped speed) is a godsend if you travel much.
if you don't travel, you may stay for the netflix and what not, but those netflix and T mobile Tuesday savings, unless you gradfathered in (which you won't need free netflix to justify staying with T mobile), severely undermined by how much you could save by moving to MVNOs.
