These are awesome, I have two pairs already and am tempted to buy another. I use these for everything from opening clamshell packaging to cutting vinyl siding to trimming off supports on 3D prints.

I have these and agree they are well worth $8. I mostly use them for clamshell packaging, cardboard and other thick materials. The scissors themselves are a little bulky making fine cuts difficult.
