My experience as a former owner:
+Pro: Out-of-the-head experience.
+Pro: Non-Planar
-Con: Clamp force
-Con: 6 khz peak that requires an excellent amp (tube is best) or eq to tame.
I list non-planar as a pro. That said, my daily driver is a planar. It is about the same money and has a smoother frequency response. It is easier to drive, but a better amplifier really makes it sing. That said, the amp is not as expensive as what might be considered a requirement for the Sennheiser. YMMV.
