One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) Big Grin

I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)

So what have you folks watched recently?

how did I miss this movie for all these years?! i'm definitely a big nolan fan but for some reason thought this one was gangster-related. i had some expiring amazon vod credit and the price was right on it. it was not as surprising an ending as memento, but it still kept me engaged and is worth watching again. Thumbup

Iron Man 3 - The AIM guy (Guy Pearce) was a better villain than Whiplash (second rate villain in the comics) but ugghhhhh the Mandarin storyline was a huge letdown. Mandarin was a huge nemesis of Tony in the comics and it was desecrated in this movie. Kingsley played a helluva role, just not what I expected. The armors were fun to watch and the kid angle was a cute touch. Gwyneth really plays that Pepper Potts role well but not enough Rhodey. It could have been better.

Just got back from watching Star Trek Into The Darkness. We really like it! So far, this series is sooooo much better than the original movies.
