i know there's a things your dog ate today thread but i though we need this too.
there's a bunch of things to share that puppy chloe does every day!
today she somehow got the bread loaf off the counter top in the kitchen. she likes to chew up anything paper or plastic. she was starting to rip apart the plastic and left the bread alone.
i had tethered her to the table outside borders when i went in for coffee. i came out and she somehow got one leg out of her harness. i mean, this harness is getting small on her so it's not loose at all!
she's either a genius playing dumb all the time or has someone help her do those things.

She had a beef bone earlier...maybe that made her feel more protective of the whole building because when someone walked past the window with 2 dogs on leashes she barked. At first I thought it was a dog outside...I had forgotten what her voice sounded like.
During the winter he would take his own sweater off somehow. I'd be sleeping and look over and he'd be laying there and his sweater would be a few feet away from him.
But he hides whenever we bring the sweater out....he knows how dorky he looks. He even gives me the

It was like 2 weeks or so after adopting our labraDorks that we heard either one of them bark...

I think the most adorable thing is that she always sleeps on a couch she's not supposed to in the guest room. She's sleeping outside my bedroom door tonight (like always) but when I went down last night around 2am she wasn't there anymore..as I was getting my glass of water and turned around, I see her just staring at me from the couch
I heard her come back up the stairs and sleep in front of my door again right after that
Then we figured it out.... he was barking at that other Golden Retriever in the bedroom. The one in the mirror above my dresser.
(footnote for those of you who don't know: Buddy, the Golden Retriever, has lived his whole life in an outdoor kennel next door to me. Never in the house, never played with, never... well, you get the picture. The owner finally gave him to me a couple days ago. He is staying here for about another week and then going to his new forever home/mama where he will be a pampered, indoor pet.)
