I agree. But, they usually will leave you hanging a little bit to look more forward to next season. This finale did none of that.

May be the point of this finale is that it could have been the series finale but we'll discover next season that Walt cannot let his "other life" go. Also, Gus dying does open the doors for some other things going on. What about the other dealers expecting distribution? What about any rival manufacturers that were small time before Gus died?

Just some ideas.

There's also going to be the confirmation of all of Hank's theories regarding Gus and the super lab.

It was more like a closed book. A cliff hanger is like in Lost. They found the hatch at the end of the season. What the hell is in the hatch? You have to wait until next season to find out. With the end of S04 of BB, we are creating our own questions. But, maybe that's intentional on their part.

Gus' background in Chile is mentioned several times and makes me think that there's more things for us to discover about him (connected to Pinochet?). Also Hank kept on mentioning how Los Pollo Hermanos, the air filter company, the laundry place and basically anything connected to Gus was somehow under the German conglomerate. Me thinks Gus was middle management and there may be a much bigger conspiracy. I think this German conglomerate will be the villain next season and Walt will redeem himself somehow but he will die for sure.

I'm late to the party, but I absolutely love the show. I watched S1-3 in the past few days on Netflix, now I need to find S4 somewhere. Bryan Cranston is amazing as Walt.
