No PICC line. I don't expect one.
No one seems to be overly concerned. Draining it will allow for more cultures to be taken in addition to the ones taken Sun night.
The foot doc will start applying (or having the nurses do it) a local antibiotic to the wound site after it is drained. He said that the antib's will keep it from spreading but until they drain the site and clean it the antib's won't really help with the actual infection.

The original cultures will be monitored for up to 4 days to see if anything else grows. Not sure what it takes to determine if staph is MRSA.
