I didn't do too bad, but my normally favorite dumpster was mostly empty (and someone had already been there digging). I won't know until I go thru them what's been cut and what has not. 6 Dumpsters, right about 90 miles round trip. (Harris Teeter super doubles is next week, so this will help the SIL out).
:faint 90 miles. I don't think I travel more than 10 or twelve in my daily routines, boy am I spoiled .

Hope tht's on your way to somewhere and not just a Q roundup , I can't imagine the gas it costs .

You are so nice to SIL, hope she appreciates it. nodd

Yes, I think she appreciates it. I know it helps put food on the table for her brood. She bypassed HT last time, so the cupboard (sp?) is getting thin.

It was just a coupon roundup. I don't think anything about driving, as I live 15 miles from everything (gas, grocery, drug store). Driving's my vice (don't drink, don't smoke, but I do drive). Gracie (my soon to be 16 year old Geo Prizm) still gets 35+ miles per gallon.

Great gas mileage and even better Gracie is sixteen years young !

I used to like to drive but it is sooo congested here and the more congested it gets , when people need to be more courteous and cautious , they get aggresssive and rude No more recreational driving for me FrownFrown around here anyway.

LOL I still laugh that they thought they could get away with "couponing for charity" and think they wouldn't notice when it was ALL returned. In addition, someone has started copying manu coupons from the newspaper and using them. Bonk This store used to be fantastic and now they are cracking down and limiting.
I'm impressed you're still shopping being preggo and 4 kids and all that fun stuff. You are my hero! Big Grin

I'd love to hear too on who's reading what! I'm trying to get through Patricia Cornwell's Red Mist. I used to LOVE her, but now her books have gotten so dark and hard to read. This one has been slow moving but I'm determined to finish it!
I couldn't get through the last few Patricia Cornwell books. I anxiously wait for the new Sue Grafton and Marcia Muller books each year though. lol

LMAO aint that the truth.. I still have to admire both you and setsail.. I know you guys are around my age, and having my last DD about 4 years ago just about kicked my butt.. It just isn't as easy as it was 18 years ago for me Smilie although I am much more laid back and probably enjoy her more!
Can I admit I'm scared to use the Keurig after ALL the cocoas had a nut warning so I can't use my tea Kcups? *sigh*

Honestly, the last 2 c-sections were my easiest recoveries, some of it I think was that I didn't take the strong pain meds that caused reactions with previous ones. The actual surgery scares me, a LOT, but otherwise I'm doing ok. Until my sister calls and asks me (again) if I talked to my ob about the uterine wall being too thin. As if something different could be done at this moment?

And boo that we aren't internet twins any longer. lol

I am so sick of everything, argh! I can't find the knot in my rope and I'm falling right off.

I haven't been in deals yet but I've shopped for that so I guess there is nothing new over there.

For the longest time I thought people cut me off in traffic because I drove a minivan. Dh's car was totaled a few weeks ago, we bought a different family vehicle and people still cut me off. My thought- some drivers are just insecure jerks.

Wave

It's cold here and I don't want to go out even though I should. I lost my coupon box earlier this week. I think I left it in the WM parking lot - had all my q's I had planned to use in it and a receipt I needed for a return. *sigh* I hope someone got some good shopping done!

Hope you are all doing great!

ok, now i have to check these authors out. actually may be going to the library later to check out the semi-annual book sale/fundraiser.

here, people see you trying to merge and speed up even if they are way over 10 car lengths behind. so rude and happens all the time. so dangerous when you are entering the highway. they just won't let you get in front of them even when the entrance lane is really, really short and you need to merge left immediately. sometimes it ends up being a game of chicken. you signal and switch lanes even when you see them speed up b/c you need to enter or exit. assholes!

dh has actually told me not to signal on those long entrance ramps b/c they will just speed up so you cannot merge ahead of them. people here seem to be hard-wired to floor it when they see somebody signaling. so then you have people drive so slow b/c they are afraid to try to merge so you have to practically brake to let them in. so then i'm waving like an idiot, go! go! go! i'm being nice and you can get in front of me and they take forever.

they were going to put a red-light camera in our town but decided against it b/c people were getting rear-ended when they stopped short for the light.

Do you know how frustrating it is to try to teach a person to use a computer, over the phone! I need a drink! lol. My ex-dh is trying to apply for jobs on craigslist. He is computer illiterate. So I finally got him into yahoo email, and explained how to create the email for a job being a maintenance man at a apartment complex. I told him to have everyone in that house look over the email before he sends it. Today I signed into his email and see the email failed, because the address was wrong. I was going to resend the email, but I couldn't get it to show up correctly. Here he had wrote the whole email in the subject line.

This is the email he sent.

Wow. That's nearly as bad as some of the ads people post on Craigslist looking for help. Yesterday there was one that had misspelled the word expert. The irony.

I need to run to T today. I really don't want to. I also need to go to the produce market, so that determines which T I'm headed towards. Hopefully they'll at least have some decent clearance. I haven't been to this T in a while and it can be very hit or miss.

It's cold. I have a pot of chili on the stove and a pan of brownies in the oven Hide

It's amazing how much better I feel today than all last week. I've been out of my BP meds for 12 days (ankles swelling so much I could barely get my tennis shoes on). I took both BP meds at lunch today, and I feel so much better.

Bad trip. She missed three coupons at the register because they weren't scanning well. For $5 I had to go wait in the line at GS. Luckily the manager was able to handle it quickly.

They didn't have any of the smaller Vaseline or and of the Knorr rice in a flavor we would eat. Ther was a lot of clearance but not a lot of deals.
