Wow, this episode had some action! The flash-sideways sucked as it usually does (other than the bomb going off at the beginning of the season cause the alternate timeline to make Locke and his father all nice-nice and Locke lost use of his legs b/c he crashed a small plane).
But the island timeline rocked. Too bad we lost at least 3 major characters in that timeline in Sayid, Jin, and Sun. I assume "Lapdance" (the pilot) died, too? And what about Widmore's people that were on the sub? I assume they all perished, too. And where the hell was Widmore?
Looks like iLocke/Flocke/Smocke really is evil. If Jack didn't throw him into the water, I assume he would've boarded the sub and taken Jack's backpack and toss it out? Or would he have changed his mind at the last second and tell everyone to go without him?
It looks like next week's episode will answer the black/white evil/good questions.
Now if someone read a real spoiler where they got an advance copy before the show aired, then the spoiler tags should be used.
*steps off the soap box*

That good/evil preview where we go all the way back to the pilot episode where Locke is playing backgammon with Walt, excellent!
I knew Sayid didn't kill Desmond. Is this the first time Sayid couldn't fix an electronic device? In the end he still fixed it b/c he absorbed the blast for them.
It was also interesting in the previous episode how both Jack and Claire (siblings) were 'turned' away from their chosen group.
Also... Kwon was on the candidate list, only once... everyone just kept saying they didn't know which one... but it now seems, they were always one.
I too agree that spoilers are unnecessary. Maybe update the thread title to serve notice?
