Sherlock on BBC One and PBS ++++Season four to air in January++++

Sherlock is a absolutely brilliant TV show from the BBC. The three episodes aired on BBC One in July/August and PBS in Oct/Nov of 2010. It did so well in fact that they are going to air three more 90 minute episodes in the fall of 2011. So if you have a chance, watch this show. It's really amazing, we're watching the last episode of season one right now.

Note: It's a modern day Sherlock Holmes and is set in London.

Not for streaming on Netflix, don't know about the DVD's. It was a BBC2 show in 2012 and on HBO here in 2013. Looks like the episodes are still available on the HBO website, not positive as I wasn't logged in. We watched it last year. It's also available on DVD on Amazon. It's a five part mini-series, btw.

Did you find it on TV or did you set it up on a wish list?

Sherlock is one of the best TV shows, it leaves everyone wanting more. Another British show I recently discovered is Citizen Khan, a really funny show. It's probably more appreciated more if you have lived in England where there is a large Asian community.

Just re-watched all three seasons on Netflix instant watch. They also have the three 'Sherlock Uncovered' episodes available, a behind the scenes and cast interview series.

The new Sherlock Special, set in late Victorian London, will air this Christmas. Whee

I think at SDCC they said the special would be in some theaters too. I hope they have decent prices unlike the Doctor Who events....Would be nice to watch on the big screen!

Tickets for the Abominable Bride have been announced [fathomevents.com] and go on sale Nov 6, screening dates are Jan 5 & 6, it's a fathom event ...so likely to be expensive. Think I'll just watch it on TV unless my nephew asks to go.

Season 4, ep. 1 was little meh, but absolutely loved episodes 2 and 3. The finale felt a little rushed and now I'm saddened there's no more Frown
