laugh out loud that or the usual woman mentality where it's perfectly fine to spend $1500 on a purse but absurd to spend $1500 on speakers that are extremely technically advanced and reproduce music accurately and took a group of very smart engineers hundreds of hours to create.

Yes but even at discount or cost, some speakers cost 1k and sometimes even more.

I had JL 8s in a stealthbox on my older M3 with Boston pro components up front. JL 250/1 and 300/4.

On my newer M3 it's still stock since I barely got it I haven't gotten around to putting anything in it.

How about you?

I don't get why a woman would have a problem with a man buying speakers or whatever for themselves. Whenever dh gets something like that, he buys me something too Big Grin. I'm nice about it though. You just have to know how to work it!

in my old 240sx, I had a Precision Power PC800 (all chrome) powering a 12" solobaric in the spare tire well, a PC1400 powering 2 Image Dynamics 2 10" idq's in a rear quarter panel custom made stealth box, a PC4400 powering Phase Audio components up front. The solobaric was only for annoying people laugh out loud I actually set it up for SQ and not SPL. 50watts to tweeters was a bit overkill.

Now, I have crappy ass stock Bose in my crappy ass stock Acura Frown
