You have lots of juice, Fiber Plus, ziploc and are quite organized. But the HUGE TIDE is out of place, as I know it wasn't bought with a T deal, right?

eta had to share something cool. I had entered a raffle at Borders last week (educator week promotion) while I was there using the lovely 40% off coupon. Accidentally bought How to Train Your Dragon book 4, went back today to get book 1 for dd. When the employee at the promotion table saw me she said to hold on because she had my prize.
And yesterday I found a Nintendo DS Lego Star Wars case (pieces on it are actually Lego) for $4, and a Star Wars tin lunch box DS starter kit/ case with car charger and skins for $2! Yeah, ds and dh are absolutely Star Wars fans.
Now, the kids are grown, one doesn't even live here. We have stopped traveling on Christmas and, yeah.... Last year was the first year for that but I have already had people in town ask if we are doing it again this year.
When I hatch this kid, I'm gonna ask to be on Cytomel and Synthroid as I've heard that that's why Armour works so well b/c it is a version of those two drugs (which both do different things). I'll tell SIL that it's back, she'll be happy!
Anyway, still have some really tired days, lots of muscle weakness, all over pain and sensitivity. And my nights have been getting longer.
Rachael - there are two others brands of dessicated thyroid (Thyroid USP) --Nature-Throid and Westroid. They are actually identical -- inactive ingredients and all. They are both made by the same lab and used to be different. They aren't now. I called HyVee and my mail order pharmacy through our insurance and it and Armour are all available and they both said they have no problems getting it.
The main difference between these 3 and the Levo/Cytomel combination is that those are synthetic and these 3 are they thyroid of a pig.
SJM - Did your switch over pretty much follow the charts on dosage? Do you split yours up into 2 or 3 doses through out the day? How was the switch? And now for one that doesn't matter, but I wanna know, how bad does it taste and do you chew it up?

BTW, Despicable me DS game was on clearance right now markdown was at 20.98... bought it at that b/c it is relatively newer but may be something to watch out for....
And yeah the free stuff makes up for the fact that I forgot to renew my military ID. It expired 10/11/10, ID office was closed for the holiday so it's going to be a pita to get on base tomorrow and get it renewed. Plus they prefer people make appointments so I don't know how long the wait will be. *sigh*
Oh, and the DS stuff I bought was at TRU. Should have made that clear.
Thanks for the DS game info! We have mostly Star Wars games and then some that the girls wanted, but the girls are all about the PSP now. Hard to keep up.
eta I noticed that Best Buy has better prices for the How To Train Your Dragon movie release this Friday, anyone seen any coupons?

have you always had wierd dreams? if not, the meds are likely doing this. some meds do that and if you talk to the docs they can adjust to avoid this side effect.
sounds to me like your neighbor was trying a passive aggressive way to gain sympathy and ultimately use that to get more stuff, but they sure went about it the super wrong way.
i've tried teaching some friends, but then they see me doing it and it seems so complex, and time-consuming that they are both intimidated and overwhelmed. i wonder if that is going on here... i finally said to them, ok, pick one store that you shop at a lot and let me teach you how to save there. or pick one area (toiletries) or even one item where you spend a lot - toilet paper, mouthwash, diapers, cereal, whatever and let me show you how to save on that.
it worked. i used that as a means to teach them basic rules. truth is that's how i got started. saved on vitamins. then saved on listerine. then on body wash. then i was hooked and started learning one store at a time. and when i tell em that, it works.
you are an angel for giving so much to them. i agree with the suggestion here - start collecting those things and do a sale. it's $s you can use and right now bunnies, you gotta watch out for your family.
As soon as I start feeling sick I try to nip it in the bud by helping my body fight whatever it is off. I suck vitamin C and zinc drops. I start taking 500 vitamin c three times a day. I mince a little garlic clove up in tiny pieces and let the enzymes activate in the air for 5 min and then scoop it up on a teaspoon and swallow it with a huge gulp of OJ, I do it that two times a day for a few days. Take a nap and get extra sleep. If I do all those things I don't get sick. Plus I drink some tea with honey a few times a day. The only time it hasn't worked was when I got sick from eating pig poop spinach, and the swine flu.
Actually if I am around a sick person I start with the drops right away. IIRC the zinc neutralizes the sick germs and can kill them off before they get a chance to make you sick. DH always has them when he travels, especially on the plane.

i agree with nikayla's advice. it's what i usually do, but didn't this time and paid for it. when i start to feel under the weather, i take 2000-3000 mg of ester c a day. and take 2 zinc pills a day. and i up my fluid intake - water, cranberry juice. within 2-3 days i feel much better and don't descend into full sickness.
about a week or 10 days before i got sick, sis was saying she was feeling under the weather. i suggested the c-zinc regimen, which she did and felt all good. i should've followed suit knowing I was now exposed through her.
and bunnies, same sort of thing happened when I took stuff to donate to a local mission....
kallison, i was donating a lot to a food pantry. every time there was a free after q food deal, i would work at rounding up qs (ips and inserts) and run to stores to do the deals over and over so i could take em bags and bags of food. then one day one of the "helpers" was irritated at having to carry the food in (as I later learned) and began questioning why I was donating and whether I had been stealing things from stores.
Looked for another pantry to donate to, but they said you can bring the stuff in on the days we accept donations and we will inspect it and check against our list to see if it is stuff we want or need, and if not we won't accept it. pfffft. really? when people are going hungry, they'd rather not take in a few extra boxes of cereal or whatever?
I've come to realize that most people/places that we donate to don't realize how effortful it is. when you show up with a car full of stuff, they just assume you're someone that went on a shopping spree and then are giving it away to pat yourself on the back.

And I was able to do a return without receipt last time in store and they took my DL#. Is there a return limit? And what about products without packaging? I know they used to, but I'm sure it got abused. I'm gonna go a few days without that moisturizer and see if that's the culprit and if it is, I really don't want to keep it.
have you tried the new moisturizer on your elbow or upper arm as a patch test to see if you itch? if you wash off the moisturizer off your face, without using clarisonic, and then put nothing afterwards, just leave your skin alone, does the itching go away? if so, it's likely the moisturizer.
returns: i was just having this discussion with a friend today. they still take things back without packaging but they ask for DL and i believe there's a limited number of times a year. i don't think they will harass you at all if you take it back without packaging and explain that you had an allergic reaction. every cosmetic retailer understands that and generally they let you exchange for something or give you store credit.
also, to soothe your skin, do you have any aloe gel? walgreens sells it in tubes and bottles. get the white one (no dyes or perfumes). put the tube/bottle in refrigerator to chill the gel and then put a thin layer on your face. it will dry quickly - it moisturizes and soothes and leaves skin very soft.

I was thinking about you and about working at T. I thought - wouldn't it be fun one day to purposely scan the "wrong" barcode on every coupon just to see what happens...

And thanks for the info on the $4 mq's. I'll have to make sure I watch that if I have any. Is it on all mq's higher than $4, or just certain ones? It sounds soooo annoying.
