I didn't see a thread for this yet. Who's watching? What do you guys think of the new judges? I usually only watch the audition part, but might check in because of Steven Tyler.

Steven Tyler ain't Simon Cowell. But, he's honest, not afraid to speak his mind, and can come up with some pretty funny comments. He's a famous rocker. So, I doubt he's afraid to step on anyone's toes. If anything, it would ruin his rocker image if he comes across too nice.
I thought last night was one of the best pre-hollywood shows I have seen AI do. So much talent and really good stories. Some that I am interested in seeing later are:
The teaching assistant (Scott? Steve?) that had the long reddish hair and glasses.
The Harvard grad
The "rock" girl who was in love with Steven Tyler
The young black guy with the slight gap in his teeth (Tyrell?)
The last guy who had the fiancee in the accident (Chris M)

I don't think that the judges are "connected" or interacting like Paula, Randy, and Simon did. I hope they get a good feel for each other and come together more cohesively.
I think the teaching assistant "put on" his appearance as one who is dorky. I bet he is not that way in RL and needed a way to capture the judges' attention. but dang, he had some pipes.

I agree about the connection, but I also think that took a few years for the others to get that way. I am actually really impressed and looking forward to the season.
