Woman in a Government car is a lunatic. With pics!

Long story short I'm sitting at a red light that has a left turn lane ONLY that is to my left of course.

Light turns green I go straight.

I make it 100% of the way through the intersection, when all of a sudden there is a PRIUS hood at my drivers side window....GOING MY DIRECTION!!! Scared the **** out of me! The car is on the wrong side of a busy road (1pm on a Friday)...

I lay on the horn and slow down to let in this lunatic.

The person gets infront of me.......and what to do I see???

How's my driving?? on her bumper!! It has a website (which I can probably figure out) on it!! I start to smile.

The light infront of us turns red, it is red for at least a full second before we get to it......My window is down and I'm mouthing the words "I'm going to report you"

She says something back that I have no idea what it was and she ran the red light. She then got onto the highway.

Well guess what, 95 always has traffic after 11am on Friday's. I had NO PROBLEM catching up to her.

Here's the pic I got (we were actually moving and I was holding up the center lane by snapping this, I didn't want to be too much of a dick and slow others down so I kept going).

Here's a diagram that is an accurate depiction of where things happened. She got in my lane JUST as we got to the train bridge.

I just finished a complaint with pictures included and wrote that I want her removed from driving a state owned car. My tax dollars paid for her to cut me off, endanger MY LIFE and the life of the other people in the oncoming direction.

I totally agree with you up to here. If the OP had honked or flipped off the lady, kudos, end of story. The OP went beyond that.
I let the lady get on the highway and sat at a red light. I was getting on the highway to go home.

I saw her on the highway - I didn't SPEED at all to catch up to her. I snapped ONE picture of her.

It is 100% bullshit when you say "The op went way beyond that"

No, she should have seen the red arrow infront of her face.

If she found herself in the middle of the intersection with no where to go she should have stopped and figured it out.

The last thing you do when you're confused is hit the gas.
Clearly the chick just didn't feel like waiting for another cycle of the light. Dontknow

Maybe she was in the wrong lane and simply wanted to cut over in front of you? You might have missed her turn signal and when she tried to pass, you abruptly cut her off?
There was no turn signal, she did not get infront of me till we were already through the intersection, please refer to the picture in the OP I drew it very much to what actually happened.

Sorry but when you're in the wrong lane and you want to get over, you should stop, put your blinker on, and wait for someone to get in. Flooring it and driving into the oncoming lane is not the correct response to that situation.

I dont understand why so many people think it's ok "what if she was confused"

if a cop saw this her car would have been towed away for reckless driving.

actually there are multiple video cameras at this intersection and the red light one she ran. If I hear back from the state I will be sure to mention it.

Just want to claify, when you mean she, you she = the bad driver, or are you refering to the OP as a she.

I made the assumption the OP was a guy, if I am wrong please correct me.

That is very petty. Are you often prone to insult people with views you don't agree with?

I am happy to reduce this to an insult war if you are so inclined.

She absolutely drove into oncoming traffic on purpose.

- A person who did it by mistake WOULD NOT HAVE FLOORED the car and out accelerated me.
The story keeps changing.

Quote :
- I was in a lexus IS250 - she was in a prius. I don't know exactly how fast I was taking off......but she CLEARLY had her Prius FLOORED - proven by the fact that she did't actually get infront of me until right before the train bridge - her hood wasn't at my side door till we were THROUGH the intersection.
So let me try to get the evolving story straight. She floored it, you kept pace until she passed you in front of the train bridge. Then after she passed you, you slowed down to let her in.

Quote :
- There is no way a person who is confused floors a car and cuts off another car. That's a conscious choice she made. She knew she was in the wrong, but did it anywya.
You keep telling us you slowed (not slammed on your brakes) to let her in to avoid an accident.

Quote :
If she can't figure out that a RED arrow does not mean "Go straight" or the ARROWS IN HER LANE (seen in the picture I posted in the OP) then she REALLY NEEDS TO GET OFF THE farkING ROAD! Especially in a car that I helped pay for.
I agree, people who don't know that a red arrow does not mean "go straight" and drivers with anger issues should not be on the road.

No one is denying she made a stupid mistake.

The only remaning issue seems to come from your evolving story, unresolved anger issues and overreaction to a stupid mistake.

Nothing has changed at all. I'm giving more details as needed. Sorry i didn't write a 10 page report in the OP

I didn't keep PACE. She floored it to cut me off and she did! Why is this so hard for you to understand. If I wanted to keep pace with her my car would have had no problem making that happen.

I'm getting tired of you accusing me of having anger issues. Posting about a ridiculous woman and her driving on the internet does not equal anger issues. I came here to post it because it's a compelling and interesting topic:

Woman with "how am I driving" bumper sticker breaks multiple laws and drives off IN A STATE OWNED CAR - one that I helped to pay for.

This is not anger issues, it's bsing with friends on slick deals. If I had anger issues I would have elevated it and done more than I did.

I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but even after multiple people have told you that you're in the wrong.....you still sit there on your high horse thinking that what you say is 100% right.

And for the last farking time, it wasn't a stupid mistake. A stupid mistake is:
- wearing two different color socks.
- bumping your head on a tree branch.
- parking your car in two spots by accident.

This was down town in a busy intersection and she chose to floor the car across an intersection, go into oncoming lanes of traffic and then force me to let her cut me off.

That's not a mistake and it's not stupid - it's breaking the law. .

If she killed a family member of yours today, would you still be calling it a stupid mistake?

It doesn't make it OK, but it doesn't mean some random internet crazy should get to revoke her license. Crazy

You took it way past sane. You followed her, mouthed what could have been a threat, thus likely causing her to run the red light and then followed her some more and took a picture. For all she knows, you're going to show up in the middle of the night to murder her.
