Congratulations! Did you ask the ultrasound check to take a quick peek? If so, I'm guessing a girl, since every time I've gone in for the neuchal fold scan, if it's been a boy she's seen the spout! If she didn't look and you are dying to find out, I highly recommend the 3-d ultrasound places! The one near us even gives a 10% educator discount, so with dh teaching we only had to pay $89 total, and got to find out 100% that Madeleine was a girl! They also gave us a dvd of the entire session, and pictures to post on FB! heart

The tech told us that she was not supposed to tell that early because they can be wrong. She said the other techs do but she doesn't want to get in trouble! My DH thinks she would have said boy. We did get some 3d images too and they are really cool.

hey all just checking to make sure you gals know that your US pics contain your name and bday as well as the medical facilitySmilie im super paranoid about my info so just thought id point it out incase you didnt know. You might want to photo shop or crop it outSmilie

I got a call today from the doctor that I tested positive for the cystic fibrosis gene! Both my Dh and I would have to have it and then we have a 1 and 4 chance of passing it on. Dh will go and get tested tomorrow but it is just weird. I don't remember if I was tested with DD but I would have remembered if I tested positive and we don't have any family history. On a good note the down's tests came back as negative. Being pregnant is no joke!!

Guess what I saw at WAGS today? Peelies on heart-shaped boxes of chocolate. They are for $20 off one-dozen red roses at harrylondon.com. (regular cost of $59.99)....I'm surprised they are doing peelies again...nod

My house stinks now...trying to make a corn dog in the microwave this afternoon while talking on phone to Mom...supposed to set timer for 55 seconds. Well, I don't know if I set it for 5 minutes and 55 seconds Embarrassment but all of a sudden I smell something and turn to look at the microwave. Smoke is pouring out of it and I heard something crack. Scared the beejeepers out of me! Quickly turned it off and opened the door. Corndog burnt, plate broken and smoke everywhere. Thank goodness it was 60 degrees here today. I opened the windows to get rid of the smoke so alarms wouldn't go off... but now it smells so bad in here and I don't know how to get rid of it. Mad

Someone once left an ear of corn they were warming in my microwave when we went on vacation for a week. You can imagine the stench when we came home. I took a small dish and put cotton balls soaked in vanilla in it. Closed it up in the microwave for a few days and it removed the odor.If you have charcoal, this works too.

The peelies are a joke this year....that's 20.00 off an expensive arrangement.
You are so lucky to have that 60 degrees!!! I so miss the open windows. Winter is running in and out of the cold with three layers on. I am so ready for spring.
As for the smell....got any glade candles???
