It is the dense breast tissue..NOTHING ELSE.. Thank god, thanking god..

It has been very long week starting monday.. and ending on a happy note.

Since CC radiology dept always has a radiologist and will tell the results immediately.. Went in for mamogram first, technician is a very sweet lady, and she told me doesn't look anything different, assuring me all the way..Ultrasound went smooth too, doctor told me atlast that it is dense breast tissue which is very common for my age and petite size.. So he told me go enjoy the weekend Smilie

Came running out the room, cried at the husband & the toddler, and all in all it did end well..But this instance made me realize the priorities.. and i am very thankful for all in my life including you lovable bunch.. Thank you for all your kind words, comfort, sharing..YOU ARE THE BEST and I lOVE YOU ALL..

Greenie: Hope your appointment went good..

hug I'm sorry you are having a sucky day Frown What syrup did you get that you don't like?

Quote from love2beeamom :
I just need a parenting group hug today.. Been a mom to teenagers is the suck.. well, especially to one of mine.. It has been a rough day.. Arguing, tears, and I am just kinda at a loss for what to do to shake my son.. He is so laid back with such an "I don't give a care about anything attitude" and I can't take it Frown I need a vacation and soon!

Lets see, other than fighting with my oldest today, I have changed clothes and sheets on the bed from the pee accident this morning.. attempted baking cookies and 3 of 5 pans I overcooked. Haven't gotten my house clean yet and we have company coming over tonight.. And, I haven't been to target in what seems like foreverCrying2 AND, I was so excited about trying my new torani syrups, and I didn't like it at all.. Next time, I will stick with vanilla next time..

As far as the kraft coupons.. I did get to use some at publix.. grabbed several peanuts, some pickles, some taco bell stuff, and 2 packs of the already cooked bacon.. Regular OM bacon at publix was 6.69 a pack EEK! I sure wish those coupons would have had a longer expiration date..

Gator - I think your DS may be a little young, or it possible he may be one who doesn't really get into legos until much older if at all.. Out of my boys, only one of them played with legos really.. The other one only liked it when he was much older and built with the fancy sets.. My oldest DD didn't like them at all, but my 3 year old has been playing with the trios for over a year now and loves them.

Ank- your girls are very pretty!

kay - hug thinking of you today

Hope everyone is having a good day... On the positive note.. I am super excited cause my sister is coming in town tomorrow.. I haven't seen her in a year and a half bounce woot
She is gonna be here a few days, and I doubt I will be getting much sleep or shopping done Smilie

L2B hug

Quote from slowtech :
awww! hug!

maybe he needs to talk to somebody a little bit older than him that he can relate to. i know sometimes they think you are too old, you don't understand, you cannot relate, etc. he doesn't understand that the more things change, the more they stay the same. that will just take time and experience. is there someone who maybe just graduated from college that he could talk to that's not an authority figure? more like a peer but been there, done that.

*snip*
I'm gonna say no on this one. What he needs is a nice swift kick in the ass called "this is our house that we allow you to live in and we have rules and expectations that we expect you to abide by."

L2B you need to clearly identify your expectations and when you want him to accomplish them and establish clear consequences for his actions and/or not meeting these expectations. (i.e. getting a pt job, household duties, grades in school)

He needs to know that he is a contributing member of your family and you are not going to provide him a free ride. He also needs to know that he is an adult and that if he doesn't like it, he can go out there in the great big world and pay his own way...all of it.

I know you have been struggling with his apathetic attitude of late and it is time to stop arguing as actions speak louder than words. Comfort

With deadlines. And lest he think you are kidding and not act immediately, start entering his room with paint swatches and a tape measure; and leave a few little floor plan sketches laying around. I'm sure you can think of several alternative uses for that bedroom.

nod

Kids, even apathetic kids, need/want rules/discipline.

Tell him how you want him to behave in your house and if he doesn't abide show him that you mean it!

When did your boys start playing with legos? I can't seem to get my oldest interested in them at all. He just turned 3...too young? He doesn't even like the beginner Trio sets.
Mine started around 3 and still obsessed with them.. Watching his brother, my toddler is going around with all his lego stuffs.
When we leave home for anywhere, toddler is coming out with a mcqueen, a thomas and couple of lego.. i am trying to put a full stop for him, but it is big chore to take care of those stuffs with the toddler..

Oh and evicting people suck! The renter we want to evict is still downstairs. DH placed an ad and he got a few calls, he even showed the place to one guy. The renter called the bishop and had the bishop visiting him for over 2 hours last night, the church has paid part of his rent for him a few times. Ugh! Did I mention I HATE renting! DH is so stressed out he had been getting sick, you know that sickness you get from stress, exhaustion, upset tummy, stress headache. The renter actually had the balls to say to DH 'So you are putting me and Emma (his 3 yr old that he has been watching for his soon to be ex wife so she doesn't have to pay daycare) on the streets?' OMG!!! I was so pissed, on the 5th we will all be evicted! He is putting our family on the streets by not paying rent! We rent and then re-rent the basement apt.

I was so pissed when he tried to lay that guilt on DH! I went down there to snap a few pics so we could place the ad and told him he is the one putting us all on the streets! He told me he would pay as much as he could and then move out on the 5th but apparently he is going to try to stay and that is why he had the bishop come over. After he mentions all he had to eat the whole day yesterday was a box of powdered donuts with jelly in the middle.get a job then!!! Why is it up to the us and everyone else to support a 45 yr old man?!?!

I wish our other house that we own but are renting out was bigger so that we could just move back into it. Well and everything would fall into place so we could move away from here.
*snip*
Oh sweetie.. I hope this renter issue gets solved soon.hug for you.. and it is taking a big toll on you..Praying for you to getting them all settled as you wish. Hang in there...

We haven't had poop talk in a while, my lil guy is also cranky because he hasn't pooped, or at least DH thinks so. I have been feeding him applesauce and giving him applejuice. Any thing else? Usually we would have to be careful how much juice we give him because he would get the runs. He hasn't pooped in almost two days, I know he will have to today, or at least he should.
*snip*
Nik, have you tried prune juice with him.. It is very hard on the kid if they dont poop, hug for him.. Hope he goes today...

Quote from tootsie67 :
yep, these say they are for the Keurig on the box and are sold with other Keurig products nod

My son is 9.5 and started with Legos around age 6 or 7. He got obsessed with them around age 8. His room is COVERED in Legos ..DD is 6 and she plays with them just because her brother is .She would rather play with her dolls, Vtech, dinosaurs, etc. though :-) He's prolly just a little young to get interested in such a tedious activity. DD would never have sat down and played Legos at 3. She was a spaz at that age Roll
My DS is obsessed with it too.. and he made my toddler follow his foot step.. he is going around with lego blocks and if he find the restroom opened, he will flush it away Facepalm

Quote from tootsie67 :
and especially if you are barefoot. Annoyed more than once, I've heard dh scream, "&$^#%#*%(" in the middle of the night because of a well placed Lego on wood floors EEK!
Quote from mamaoftwins2 :
My kids just recently started playing with legos..they are 4-1/2...They would play with Trio at times but they played the most with a small lego block table that we have...

But I would say enjoy the time that your Ds is not interested in legos..it wouldn't be long before they take over the house, will have a trail from living room to bedroom and no matter how many times you clean up, you will always find an itty bitty tiny piece of lego somewhere...And the worst part is they multiply at night...
LMAO
I agree with walking on the lego, it hurts so much.. i am so mad at times and swore myself all along for getting them in the first place..

Oh on that lego table, i looked up and down to buy one of them, no luck around my target stores Frown

Quote from meeshecat :
Sending lots of prayers for Kay12. Hope you have lots of good news to tell us... and any which way we will be here for you...hug

anyways you said you have a sony cybershot, i got one for mother's day and have had miserable luck taking pics. they always come out blurry. i used to take awesome pics with a canon 1200 i had until the lens had a tragic accident and is now permanently damaged.

any tips or suggestions? maybe some settings that might work better? TIA

I will do that as well, though these lego's get into my nerves. i am the one buying them Frown
