Wasn't it a nice place! Nicest hotel I will ever stay at. We dind't do the casino thing since we had been to Vegas theyear before which is when we took the bump for the free tickets. We did do a timeshare thing though so we could get some free tours. Like I said it was a cheap vacation for us. Loved the body wash at the hotel! I wish I could have a bunch of that. The robes were very nice too. And not to forget the full size Hersheys bars in the lobby. Yum! Can you tell I am reliving it as I type? laugh out loud

Glad you are ok. Also glad you could reassure the kids that Mommy will keep them safe. When we were kids my mom kept soda and pringles (big treats for us) in the basement and we only had those when the sirens went off so it made it a fun little party rather than a scarey thing. You could try something like that. Maybe stockpile a few new toys or games for those times

We make Maupo Tofu... it's super spicy! They sell seasoning packets at chinese markets and all you do is cook it together and it's done. Make some white rice and DELICIOUS. nod


Otherwise, steamed cauliflower makes good "mashed potatoes", and ground turkey makes GREAT meatballs (softer) and even really good shepard's pie. Wink

I'm not sure. I don't think the Monster brand surge protectors work any better than the Walmart $20 ones. But I don't know. Even with a surge protector, if your house gets struck by lightening, everything with an electronic circuit is toast.

EEK!EEK!EEK!We are now under a tornado Watch until 9 pm! It is presently 62 degrees with the sun peeking through and snow showers are predicted for tonight. I wish Mother Nature would quit teasing us with hints of spring then slam us with winter weather!

Quality is comparable to shutterfly in my humble opinion, You need 6 MCR points to get this I believe.
