Oh boy...what a week you are having...I forget--what are the ages of your kiddos? I have a really bad memory some time so if I've asked before, forgive me...nod Kudos to you for helping out the family with the fire. And, I doubt that they think your stockpile is crazy since it sounds like they are benefitting from it! Wink

hug hug Weeks like that I just want to ship the kids away for a week or two. Hopefully next week will be much better.

Well the wind here is absolutely crazy!! It is really scary. Trees are blowing over, shingles, swing sets, and so on. Well right now dh is headed home from a car show he took his class to. He is about two hours away. They are in a bus and I just got a call the windshield blew out! EEK! I am trying really hard not to freak out there, but wth! I called him and he said he couldn't talk he was holding up the windshield. I sure hope he calls back soon. BTW they said there are 6 semi's turned over on i-40 right now. Scary stuff!

Probably so. That damn thing isn't going to die anytime in the near future. And Dallas actually mentioned wanting a parakeet. She barely acknowledges the existence of the pig. I know they would take better care of a dog... but...

Wow! That sounds awful! We had sun here all day but in the last hour it has gotten cloudy and the wind is blowing hard but not like you guys are having. We are suppossed to have heavy rainfall and high wind tommorrow all day. Don't you just love Spring? Praying that your hubby and all with hum are safe.

He just called. They got the windshield back in and are holding it in place with lots of duct tape. They are headed home. Hopefully this will be the only problem they have. The winds are in the 40's with gust in the 60-70's.

It has been CrAzY here in OK the last couple of days, hasn't it? Stay safe, Bre...Are the kiddos home with you? Praying for DH to get home safely. The little town (Tushka) that got hit last night by the tornado is one that we go through on the way to my mom and dad's place at Lake Texoma. I guess the high school is pretty much gone. So sad & scary.

Well, I hope not! EEK! The pet store here was giving away parakeets last weekend. GrD really wanted one when we went by but I figured that would not "fly" with her mom. They did enjoy the foster puppies though...the entire family. Have you ever thought about trying that? Our SPCA just put out on FB that 3 lab puppies need a foster home until May 2...I was so tempted but we will be gone for several days and didn't call. I'm wondering if my DIL did!

Well I had my dr appt today. Up a pound and an inch, so all is well! Big Grin My iron is fine according to my regular OB, so it seems I will not have to have IV iron! Whee I haven't heard from the high risk OB, but I assume he agrees since he didn't call! After my dr's appt, I went out to lunch with J, like we always do. I started having contractions I think. Not sure. The dr said if it was a contraction, my whole abdomen would be hard during the pain. So what I am feeling is a crampy pain (can be intense) and a WHOLE LOT of pressure. I went to the bathroom to see if that would help and it didn't. I ended up laying down in the van and J got our check and we left. I dropped J off at work and came home. The pain comes and goes, but I am just sitting down now with my feet up and letting the girls and Shawn take care of me. laugh out loud I will keep you all updated, but I am hoping this is just BH or something else, bc I am not ready! EEK!

The kids are home with me. I talked my dad out of not coming to town. The kids are really sad, but it is better to be safe then sorry. It is just so scary here right now. I didn't even know about the tornado. That is so sad! We really need to get cable or dish. I wonder if directv or dish or whatever would be working in this weather.

Ariel that is awesome news on your iron levels!! I am sure that takes a lot of stress off you. Keep those feet up. Trust me you will know if it is real labor or not. I was induced with dd so I wasn't sure what real labor would feel like. Trust me I knew when the contractions started with ds. He was two weeks early.

Thanks hun! Yes, it does relieve my stress! I really didn't want to have to get IV iron! laugh out loud I had labor with Alexa, but nothing with Sophia, so I don't really remember. EEK! I am sure you are right though, I will know when its real. Smilie
