Having a bit of a problem with dh right now on top of everything else. He is not understanding why I am choosing not to supplement her eating and I am tired of explaining myself.

This comes from a man who has seen her 1/2 dozen times in the last few years because "he" can't handle it. He has no concept of what goes on inside of me the 3-4 days I week I spend a few hours there. I am doing the best I can and what I think she would want. The rest is out of my hands...

Sorry to be dumping this on you. I'll just keep my trap shut and pretend all is wonderful

My DD loves clubpenquin and pixiehollow. Poptropica is also a good educational game that the company my DH works for has created but you might have to play with them. I just read your post again and I don't know if you download any of those games but you might try and see if your computer will run them.

This morn was much better. He did not apologize for what he said but he did offer to go see mom while my sis and I are here on the beach in Melbourne for a few days of sun and country music.

He knows I was worried about both of us being gone but we are only 2 1/2 hours away. Told him there was no need as my girlfriend is working everyday I am gone. I'll see her on Sunday. I know he does not want to go but to make peace I know he would have if I agreed.

Anyway...NO for him for a few days...lol

yes! if he sees what I am sorting then he wonders why I have all that crap. I would much rather get rid of it while he is out of site! Then only I have to wonder why the heck I have that?

I moved home from a job I loved in NoVa to care for my Dad with Parkinson's Disease. For over 6 years I either drove home or flew home every 3 weeks to care for him over a weekend. I've never regretted the time I spent with him. I finally moved home after I couldn't take the travel back and forth anymore. He died the day before I turned 40.

Michelle, glad the D&C was okay. I found mine to be not as bad as I expected either. Praying for you as your recover and that maybe the doc would have more answers this time. Who knows?

I was sort of in the same situation but was not working. My bro and sis were trying to do the best they can with Mom in CT and I would go back and forth from FL to take over. It became to much for everyone.

I made the decision in 2001 that I would take full responsibility of mom but I would move her to FL. It's been a long road but it's the least I can do for her after what she has done for me.

It just hurts so much seeing her the way she is as she really is a wondering kind caring person who always thought of others first. I wish I can do more than just hold her hand...

Happy Friday! This has been one of THOSE weeks for me so I am very happy to see the end of the week. It is rainy and dreary today so that is yucky, but it is Friday so I'm trying to look on the bright side!

It was a craptastic week for me, too although for very different reasons - so stressful, busy & aggravating....must be something in the air. Been thinking about you and your family and hoping and praying you can make it through. I'll be anxious to hear what this new guy says. Did you like him?

Same here. My to-do list is about a million miles long and Kiley just started to develop a little cough. If kids start getting sick in here I might end up in the looney bin. Of course, I'm pretty sure in there I could take a nap.

I hear ya...the baby had a 103.3 temp night before last. Took her to the Pediatrician yesterday....VIRUS....nothing we can do. She is soooo cranky b/c she's teething too. My oldest is gone all the time to track crap and when she's home, she fights with everyone. To top it off one of her little friends from school that lives up the road had a house fire so we took her in until they can get water and electricity back. I'm worried sick about her friend and their family. Took them a bunch of stockpile stuff but they just moved here so I'm thinking they think we're crazy (because who has all that stuff in their basement?!) I was also able to outfit their daughter in new jeans and C9 apparel for school the next day. Sponsored by Target of course. Oh and DS crawled under my dining room table last night while I was discussing some major family problems with my brother on the phone and proceeded to paint the floor and chair/table legs with poop. He walked up to me with it all.over.his.body. and said "sorry" "sorry" "sorry" all nervous and rainman-like. In to the shower with him and some other hell broke loose while I was cleaning up. It is a no win situation to be me this week. I'd drink but I came down with a stomach virus too.
