I don't think they think the stockpile is crazy per se, I think they think we are crazy for having it

The oldest girls and our new refugee went to the middle school play & I took them out to pizza and ice cream beforehand. Hopefully it takes her mind off things at home.

Well today is a day for me. I was already coming here to ask my beloved friends for

and positive thoughts for some long drawn out family drama and then I just got more bad news. So on top of the family drama that my daddy and Momma Junie are going through, my dad was just dx with prostate cancer. I am trying not to freak out. The dr said he thinks its ok, and should be 100% curable, but they don't know yet. He has to go in for more testing. I feel like breaking down and

for hours! This is a little too close to all the same kinda stuff I was going through a year ago with my mom. I can't even think about all of this. Momma Junie is flying out here tomorrow to be with me or when Lily comes, and now I feel guilty and think she should stay. My daddy and her won't listen, but I am worried. Also, I just found out that my grandma has to go in for a biopsy as well (she has cancer a long time ago). Momma Junie says it will all be ok, but I think she is just saying that to make me feel better and not stress too much.

Wow, I'm going to sleep well tonight. Mowed the lawn, washed the garage door, front door, and part of the deck, then I primed both the garage door and the deck, took some photos of flowers sex organs (100% nude), and then coached the girls in softball. So tiring.

So our flowers are coming in, and I was able to get some relaxation time in with a old cigar (too bad an aging cigar doesn't improve with time, well not the way i keep them).

The last two shots are the same, but i ran it through an IR filter which almost makes the flower glow.

I'd appreciate any feedback, like flowers are boring, or stop taking photos of flowers sex organs, it's just profane, or even that's some pistol on that daffodil.

Thats what I said to J, especially bc of the pressure I was feeling. It all stopped now that I have been sitting/laying for a while.

I'm sure you know this as an RN also but the success rates for prostate CA are huge. I know that won't stop you from worrying but.....

My daddy had prostate cancer, too and if caught early is highly easily treatable - no chemo or anything. The only time it's fatal as I understand it if it's gone on for years and years and nothing was done about it. That probably doesn't help too much though right now since I know you are on 10 with the baby already but I think momma Junie is telling you the truth.

Will be praying that Grandma's biopsy comes back negative.

I'd say you got more done today than DH will all summer. Photo #2 speaks to me.

I agree! I pulled a bunch of stuff together and took over some leftover beef & noodles and mashed potatoes that we had and baked some banana bread but they were most excited about the 6 boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch
