Mornin' peoples! I'm baaa ack. Thanks you for all the anniversary wishes! We had a nice time. Oh, yeah, and let's see now which one of you was it that thinks if you are Targeting on your anniversary you have been married too long.... Naaaa, honey, ya see, when you've been at it this long, you are just so damn good that it leaves time for other stuff.

We live so far from a Target that anytime we are near one, hubby is great. He doesn't care if I wanna run in and he doesn't care how long I take, he just stays in the car. I did skip Target #2 this weekend mainly because in our junking, errr, I mean shopping, I was on the other end of town and just didn't go back.

I was a little disappointed to see that the Finish Quantum 10 pack was back up to $4.xx on Sunday though. So, I got 5 Friday and none Sunday. No big deal, I guess, I have boxes and boxes under the sink and I was down to 4 of the $0.75 coupons. I long ago finished up my $1 get it free coupons but turns out I like it so well, I was willing to pay a quarter.Cool I finally got some Up &Up Ibuprofen, more Cleaner w/Bleach (love this stuff), 4 more jeans for DD, Suave.

We found a new junk, errr, I mean antique store that we hadn't discovered before. And we left with the two new, or rather old clocks. We sort of have this obsession, I mean attraction to old clocks. One is wound, working, and kept perfect time overnight. The other one hubby has to look at and see if he can get it going. He has fixed several, so we have hopes for this one. He found a few old metal train cars for the collection too -- at $8 each those were a great deal. Geez, we need to get that room built for all the train stuff.

Last night we were searching around on line looking for info on the two clocks we had bought. We eventually ended up at eBay just looking a clocks. The first one to come up -- auction ending in 2 minutes -- was one we just bought a few weeks ago. Perfect condition, runs, got it $2 at a local used place. Winning bid last night was a $25X. We don't usually buy electric clocks (wind or cuckoo) but this one was so interesting we wanted it.

Does anyone use one of those small chest freezers, like they have at Target or Sam's club for $139
If you can find one for $139, maybe, but much more than that, wait for the HyVee deal if you can. The run it at least once a year, in fact, it just ended a couple weeks ago. Buy the freezer for $200 and you get $200 worth of coupons. These are all "get if completely free" coupons not cents off. So essentially, you get $200 of food and the freezer.

chocolate Kisses ...use these sprinkled around the tables.
We bought a little house we were redoing and then reselling. The previous owner had lined one dining room wall with nearly floor to ceiling mirrors -- I think there were about a dozen. They were about 8" wide and 6' tall. They fit the length of a banquet table perfectly. For DD's grad party we put them down the middle of the tables (over table cloths) and set Kisses all over them. It was sparkley and pretty. And tasty.

I've gotta get into town and get my papers done. When I get back I plan on answering my PMs.

I have one of the small chest freezers. It used to be my mom's. It was just her and she bought a small one to use. When she passed away, we took it and have been using it for the last few years. It is better than nothing, but I hate the way things end up in the bottom and to find anything, I need to take everything out. In the fall, I found a deal on a big upright from CL.. I totally heart it.. My plan was to just use the upright, but I have never managed to empty the other one yet. And with the target frozed food deal a few weeks ago, all of my freezers are stuffed.
The small chest freezers are far better than nothing, and are the cheapest option.. and if you don't have alot of stuff, they are okay.. But, in my opinion, don't compare to an upright at all. I love being able to open the door of the upright and see exactly what is in there and easily find it. Of course, sometimes the treasure hunt of my chest freezer can be fun.. When I was looking for something last week, I found a couple of steaks and packs of chicken I had no idea were in there laugh out loud
We have a meat freezer and a veggies Ice cream/pops freezer (which is also packed with T freezer CG stuffs) they are both chest I bought one new at BB at the begining of my SDing then aquired the second larger chest freezer. I hate them and would suggest going the way of an upright but I am pretty organized and have an in/out inventory of each of them.

Nono we have two chest freezers and never have to worry about them. My grandmother thought like you and bought an upright. She has had the worst time with the door not closing all the way or putting too much stuff in and the door popping back open in the middle of the night, ruining all the food inside Frown she's putting it on craigslist now...

We have looked into getting a chest freezer but I am concerned that food will end up on the bottom and be long forgotten! So we were debating about getting an upright.

we use those gigantic Ziploc totes and label one for meats, one for veggies, one for breads like waffles, etc. That way, everything is somewhat organized but I can still just throw stuff in on top if I need to when I get home and I'm in too big of a hurry to organize since that's not my specialty as it is. Same with my grandmother-she'd would just toss stuff in her upright expecting to organize the next morning but by the next morning, the door had popped open and defrosted everything Facepalm

I haven't had a problem with an upright popping open, by I had a friend with a bunch of kids and a couple freezers on the porch, out of sight. Kids often didn't shut them tightly. They added a hasp to each one -- the kind that you slip through and then twist so it won't come out. At one point she actually had a padlock on them.

Okay.. I may get flogged for this.. but, what is up with the deal thread? I agree jujuli was the best! She was awesome at providing coupons for everyone and it sucks that she was taken advantage of.. I appreciate all of her help.. But, do we need 15 pages of comments about it.. Can't people just leave her rep comments or something? And so many of these people are newbies that I have never even seen post before Head Bang

I am all about thanking someone and acknowledging their hard work.. But, there has hardly been an actual "deal" posted in the deals thread lately.. Except gators helpful info this morning Wink

Off my soap box now...

And let me say again, I am definitely not minimizing all that jujuli did to help everyone hug
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO glad you said this. I thought it was just me being a grumpy bitch. AAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDD... I see an awful lot of love coming from some noobs that have low post counts and I've never seen over there. I'm sure they're all like "what, the what is up with the TQs". I'm glad gator put an end to the love fest. Teehee

DS's spring break is this week. We're both still sick, although he seems to be feeling better. I volunteered to watch my sister's best friend's kids for the morning while she went on an interview at my sister's school. It's 1:40 and they are still here. WTF? I mean, I know she's not out shopping at T, but wrap it up already. At least the kids are playing nice together. Her DS is 6 months younger than Cole and her DD is 6 months older than Kiley. Needless to say I have a whole new appreciate for the parents of multiples.

Crylol I watched it too! I love this feature on Brighthouse cable that allows you to start a program over if you want to...I saw it on the guide and 10:30 and got to watch the whole episode. It was gross. Dog hair. Eww. Sick And the gnats in the sink while she was preparing food... btw, I don't think I've EVER eaten that much mayo in my life, let alone in 1 bowl of pasta. Faint

Mine doesn't come open that easily either.. It is in the garage and I find myself looking at it all the time when I leave.. I always do a visual check that it is still plugged in and suchnod

I had the idea for that craft blog a year ago but with a baby and my dad just passing away I decided to wait on it. So we've been saving them for a year. I was originally going to make a 365 TP Craft site and have i would have a different craft every day, that sounded like a lot of work that might interfere with my T shopping. Teehee

I think we should have a contest to see who can come up with the best kid craft project using amazon boxes! Whee
