Looking like the evening of 4/6, but need to clear it with work first. Tough being the newbie, but easy when it comes to babies. Sometimes, they even make them just down the hall! Cool

I also have this [zcache.com] on the back of my shoulder, a shamrock and the japanese symbol for "fierce" on my ankle, and my last one was a Celtic Mother's Knot with my kids' names.

I love that they're multi-cultural and refuse to have a "theme". Have fun picking yours out - make sure it's something that you love, because you'll have it for the rest of your life!
i recommend that if you have any foreign language, esp chinese characters, that you check w/ somebody fluent in the language b4 you do it. i once saw a big guy w/ the word for *sky* (天) tattooed big on the side of his neck....upside down!!!! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

then one time in some big store like walmart or somethin', i was w/ my mil and sil and some girl asked us what her tat meant. my mil said it was one of them was of the characters for *kung fu* but those 2 characters together didn't mean anything. basically her tat was gibberish. i don't think that's what she really wanted.

i hope it means something in japanese b/c they borrowed many chinese characters and over time how you used them has changed a bit, but really, this time i doubt itshake head. the japanese use chinese characters when they are trying to convey more complex words and usually the combos and meanings stays pretty on track.

i am now the proud owner of 5 prs of almost free target jeans, no jeggings. 2 pr are exactly the same so i may return one, but for 1.24 i'm thinking i could leave them at sil's second home. she has suggested we leave some clothes there which could be a good idea in case we ever end up staying longer than planned or whatever. can't borrow nephew's clothing b/c he never brings enough clothes for himself. complained some of his tees were too big. teenagers! last time had to run to target and show him how to get c9 q's for himself so his mom would buy him some clothing he would wear laugh out loud!

Morning peeps and chattering meanies Wave

My DH is out of town too, he left at 2 am after sleeping for awhile, he has meeting this morning. I was so glad he was able to come home for DDs birthday. Sounds like it is time for some shenanigans! Whee

I agree with the government often downplaying things. On the other side, the media upplays things. So figuring out what is really going on can be hard (especially with all the aluminum on your head).

hug that sucks, you should to relax and nest, put your feet up and sleep as much as possible. Let your DH finish off your Qs. I am lucky to have a DH that will do T runs too, if I make a list and get the coupons all in order for him first. But he will do it heart When he is in town and has time.

I ran out today to use the Glade Qs I had in my binder already, got a former jedi now writer, I felt weird but all good, came home to my envie of ordered Glades and have to go back out tomorrow. Kinda annoying, I did the calculations for what I spend in gas $$ to go to T and back and it is a lot, I mean I make it up in the savings but it still hurts at $3.50+ a gallon. I need cheapy somethings on my shopping list that aren't JMS, any suggestions? All my mannies are dducks.
Mento's, jeans, Ronzoni pasta, Ibuprofen, Excedrin. Did you get the envi yet? I added a stamp but have been having anxiety the mailman is bringing it back (oh wait your addy was on teh return too, so either way it should have been there by now) or that it got stuck in the mail sorting machine and exploded 3.5 oz of MQ all over the mail room.

Just wanted to report that I had no problems getting overage at WM today. The cashier didn't even blink an eye handing me back $21.xx in cash.

Nary an Amazon code to be found around these parts.
Faint That is cool, I may just have to start shopping there again. I have been scoping the amazon codes out on e.bay, can't find em here any more either.

Hi everyone. I use to follow the target thread alot but life hasn't gotten busy. I'm thinking of starting back up but I'm really missing the old thread.
I dint see too much in wiki as for hot deals. Are they mentioned more now vs in the wiki so only the die harders catch the deals? or are there not as much deals as the past?

I just subscribed to the t chat thread hope it doesn't go to fast lol I read more than i deal shop these days lol...

Anyway hello Lisa here I have a 3yo DS & 5 yoDD,married, 3 dogs and my lil bro lives w me too
Welcome, and thanks again for the thread on the CEC coupons. DD had a fantastic BDay party last night. We are no longer allowed to post TQs on SD so the wikki has kind of become a lot less used. The best way to find the current deals is to go into the target thread and search recap and then just to read.

So I just put the signs out for our GS tomorrow. I really have high hopes for it, but who knows? I have a ridiculous amount of cleaning stuff...way more than I've ever had. Hopefully they are popular sellers here like in Michigan.
Good luck! Greedy

I didn't realize so many of you all had tatts. I have always contemplated getting one, or a few, but have never found that one thing or two that I think I would want forever. Except eyebrows, but mine are still fine. Also I would probably be the silly girl who does want just a nickle sized tattoo. Sadwalk My sister got one between her shoulder blades that is the size of your hand with fingers splayed. A rose entwined in thorns. She has said she intends to have it finished (filled in and more color added) but hasn't yet. I am to chicken to go for one that big. Embarrassment

Anyone here have tattoos?? I just want something simple like maybe a butterfly or hearts on my hip I think. Any suggestions.... I'm getting nervous!!
I have 7 professional tats (and a few unprofessional ones Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) Here [facebook.com] are the pics of mine. They all mean something special to me and I don't really regret any of the designs I got. I do regret the artist I went to for one (the HK one), it was spring break and I didn't research my artist enough. The quality of that tat is much worse than the others. The ink she used must not have been the same quality as my cousins (who has done the rest of my tats and is a pro). My cousin has even tried to fix it, which did make it better, but it is still the least nice tat I have.
I agree with others, make sure its something you really want! Also, if I were you, I would look at designs on the net now and try and find something you want. nod The hip is a good area as far as pain level.

Quote from Dazzledby5 :
2nd, I have 5 1/2 tattoos - they S.U.C.K! but all worth it in the end. (the 1/2 is: my newest one is a cover up - so I only have 5 tats to show for but sat thru the pain of 6) I have told my kids that if they want tats, especially visible ones they need to seriously think about it. IT, actually IT, the what, the where, the how big and imagine for at least a year about having it there FOREVER!!!!
I was just 16 when I got my 1st, and I by no means regret it but the guys at the shop knew I was underage and called 'the apprentice'' to come do my tattoo, his most likely first. - Yea, fun -- it is horrible, crooked, and I am scarred from his lack of experience but it is me. I made a mistake with the 2nd one - during college and my uhm ''experimental hullicinagenic days'' and that is the now 1/2 tat.
Other than making sure you really want it, I would say make it meaningful - People will forever ask you what it means. And go big, little bit tattoos are just silly. :cool :
Iagree with the bolded!!! All mine can be covered up if needed, but are also easily visible, depending on what I want. With my profession, its important to be able to do it this way! Also my first tattoo is about the size of a quarter. My uncle and cousin (tat artists) said I would regret getting it so small and I do. It just looks silly on my hip, being so small.

Quote from _Gator_ :
I have 3 tattoos and plan on getting 1 more when I am finished having kids. I have them on my hips and lower back. My SIL has them everywhere. I mean, you can't tell she has that many with clothes on but she has rosary beads wrapped around her entire stomach, like 3 times around her body with a HUGE cross on her side. She has them behind her ears, back of her neck, feet etc. They hurt when you are getting them done but not as much as tongue piercings :hide :
I have had many piercings as well and I didn't think the tongue hurt at all!? Dontknow I mean it was difficult to eat afterward and the swelling sucked, but not the actual piercing.

Rach just told me this yesterday! She said, I should try laying down more, that she did it at the end with baby L and it helped a lot, so I did lay down on the couch yesterday while Soph was coloring. It was nice and then it made Soph want to lay down! laugh out loud Too bad neither of us actually got in a nap, but it was a start!

J does the same with T runs. I make a list and set up Qs, but he will go and do it and for that I am thankful! heart

My tongue is double pierced. I 1st one didn't hurt but the 2nd one did because it went thru scar tissue from the 1st. Now the nape of my neck hurt like a Mudder Fugger! I had no idea what to expect, at a Tattoo convention, laying on a banquet table in the ballroom of a big hotel. OMFG!

We have had the piercing conversation before. I should totally do a FB album of my tattoos, Dh and I got matching tattoos for our anniversary not so long ago. Two different artists at the same time and each put thier own spin on it.

That is horrible. I had just had my 2nd baby when my oldest was 5ish. A coworker got his GF pregnant after I had the baby and we saw her in Walmart one day and I asked her about the pregnacy and DS#1 caught on to the conversation and then said at the top of his lungs (cause he is so like that) "WOW, Mommy how many babies does she have in there!?!?!"

Yeah my eyebrow didn't hurt the first time either, but when they re-pierced thru scar tissue, that hurt, not my most painful piecing, but pretty up there!

You should! I finally just put pics of all mine, since it was easier than describing them laugh out loud

I have a fairy too, she is from "Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book'...she is my Tramp Stamp but I don't like to call her that because I got her before the 'tramp stamp' was coined and she is big not stamp small. Wink

I also have the meaning of my kids names on my arm in a swirly S (for our last name) thing but still have to add baby Emmilyne to it.
