Even though he got the help he needed - it wasn't easy. In fact it was so damn hard to go through.

if you are interested in watching movie previews, this is the first kiddie movie i've gone to but they definitely had more loot. free party leis for the kids, free movie posters big and small, dave and buster play vouchers. you could take a picture w/ the radio's mascot which was a bee. this radio station also did raffles which included mcdonald rio happy meal toys. no security this time looking in your bag and making sure you didn't have a recorder.

they also did scan the barcode of the preview vouchers for the first time in my experience. i'd just been telling dh about j'aime and he told me how some people had been printing extra identical vouchers for their friends and how they would get blasted online b/c people who legitimately got vouchers couldn't get into the movie.

also said in the cities, people have reported the previews are a zoo w/ people cutting the line etc. we haven't gone to previews in the city b/c the gas, tolls and parking costs more than just paying for the tix at the box office. there are no previews in our area so we've been driving about an hr to mostly very nice malls w/ movie theatres so dh has to put up w/ walking around the mall and window shopping Teehee!

I wish I lived closer to a bigger area. I'm in BFE, about an hour and 45 minutes from the closest metropolitan area and even there they don't do many previews. I would love to do something like that heart

So we went and saw tanner earlier and it was really a nice visit. He seemed more cheerful and happy than he did yesterday. He was finally wearing his clothes instead of their issued clothing. He drew three or four pictures for us to bring home. He knows we have an appointment with the Social Worker tomorrow and he kept asking if he could come home then. I didn't know what to tell him because I highly doubt he's coming home tomorrow. They said to expect him to be in there for 5 to 7 days so at the earliest I'd assume wednesday. I want to push to have him out as early as possible, even if that means he does their outpatient program where he goes there during the day but home at night. To be honest, I'd like him to do that anyhow because then we can see the true adjustment to his medication. We'll have him at home where he seems to struggle the most and there during the day where we can work directly with them on the medication plans.

Anywho. It was easier leaving him this time but still so sad. I miss him like crazy at night. I told him I stole his pillow and that I sleep with it and he just laughed. lol
