LMAO Well let me tell you my DS, who is turning 15, still smells like that at the end of the school day.LMAO He sweats so much that I don't know of anything that can rid him of that smell.
Try a deodorant stone. They are literally a rock -- like a crystal. I know someone who uses one and it is the only type of deodorant/antiperspirant that works for him.

The other thing with regular deodorant is to make sure it is an antiperspirant also. Of course, there is still that all over teenage boy smell... geez, there for a while I wasn't sure I would ever keep that smell out of my house.

Yep..LOL..That is pretty much where we are at. Everyday I am cleaning his room to get the smell out. My DH comes home yesterday and says 'wow, what did you do to his room? It smells good in there."LMAO Well, I refilled all the glade dispensers and wiped everything down with lysol cleaner. Lasted a few hours anyways. He has really bad allergies so I don't like to keep the window open.

I think what helps the most is constant washing of the bedding. OMG, I think you need a gas mask to pull the sheets off. LMAO

We lived about 6 hours away from family when my son hit that stage. My mom came to visit and just couldn't understand why on earth his room smelled so bad. It must be because it's dirty. Sure, Mom, that's it. I tried to explain to her that it was just teen age boy and it's unstoppable. She didn't believe me. I have three sisters, no brothers. Stripped the bed, opened the windows, vacuumed, air sprayed, made sure there were no dirty clothes, son was bathed and shampoo (which he did at least daily anyway) etc. etc. 24 hours later it smelled the same. LMAO It was so much better when he was little smelled like a puppy. Remember the puppy smell? I liked that.

LOL..Same here. My mom only had 2 daughters so no boys. And she just laughs when I try to tell her. I don't think she gets it. I get a good smell of my boy right before school when he is clean and fresh cause I know that good smell won't be there when he gets home.LMAO I wash his sheets at least every other day, cause I can't stand it...funny cause it doesn't really seem to bother him all that much..he is like what smell??Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Off now to watch my sweet smelling teenager play in a band concert for school. Have a great day everyone!

Is anyone buying the Hasbro Operation game at WM and submitting rebate for Tombstone Pizza?

It is priced $5 at WM and there is an IP for $3. I saw the same one at Target and it was priced $15, on sale with a free candy egg.
ugh! you are tempting me even more to go!!! i already cut one q and printed one q, now i want to print out 3 more q's (the one more and 2 on dh's laptop).

those crayola glowstations were too much to resist. and i still have toys from last yr to give away.

i'm trying to simplify here people and you are making it very difficult!!!

i'm usually only interested in the premium candy like the godiva bags at target that i will try to get at 75% off, but i also like to try new stuff so you are killing me!!! i still have a decent amt of choco in the pantry from valentines day too.

b4 slickdeals i basically never bought candy at all.... you guys have corrupted me Sadwalk

More on the vacuum, it is over 10 years old, paid around $300 for it. The part is the cone that comes down and goes into the canister. There were 2 L shaped pegs that kept it in place, both have broken off and there is no suction. The hose is also half covered in hockey tape, so should get a new one as well. The thing is, we now have a dog that sheds like crazy, and were thinking of a Dyson animal. I heard that Lowe's will take the 20% off coupons from Harbor Freight.
does it still do a good job otherwise? do you think you could squeeze another couple yrs out of it for $30 or is it falling apart? is it doing a good job on the dog hair or do you really need another solution?

i made a big boo boo and vacuumed drywall dust that killed the motor on my hand-me-down $400 hoover canister that was at least 10 yrs old at the time. i paid $180 to replace the motor b/c nobody rebuilds motors anymore. i also later paid $35 to replace the hose. i got about another 10 yrs out of it.

last yr the motor was starting to die again and i came across a dyson 50% off at target. the dyson has excellent suction but is way less easy to maneuver so i vacuum way, way less. i still miss my old vacuum but any more repairs would put me over my 50% budget over original cost. it just wouldn't be worth it.

i've been using the swiffer sweeper vac to do the small areas like bathrooms b/c it's so much easier than the dyson but i would like to get a small good quality canister vac to do the bare floor areas.

decisions, decisions!

I have three dogs and got a marked down Dyson at Kmart a couple years ago. I really like it -- a lot. It isn't an Animal; it is the DC07, I think. Anyway, I think you would be really please with any of them if other models are cheaper than the Animal.

I do like the attachments. You can use them on the floor without crawling around or stooping over. It has a long wand. You can also easily reach the ceiling if you need to suck up a cobweb without standing on something too. And the hose is long enough to do a full set of stairs without moving the vacuum.

Just popping in this morning to say hello.. Wave

I wanted to agree on the dyson.. I heart mine.. We use the long wand attachment all the time.. It is great for the stairs, the air vents, and great for sucking up little spiders out of the corners laugh out loud Got mine at med, bath, and beyond a few years ago with a sale plus 25% off coupon.
I also like the swiffer vac because we put hardwood floors in most of the upstairs 2 years ago and it works great on them..But, I have lost my charger cord for it Frown wonder if I could order another plug?

Gonna get ready and go shopping soon.. Saw on another site Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) that toys r us is having a pretty good sale today.. It is reported that you can get the incredibles and cars blu ray movies for around 16.00 total for both.. Plus, there is a big sale on crayola stuff, little tikes stuff, and easter candy..

And as for driving you insane, I think it's because if you threaten to beat a pet they slink off to their own corner. If you just give the stink-eye to a kid they throw a sobbing fit at the top of their lungs of "Oh please don't beat me mommy... please don't beat me..."

laugh out loud (that last part actually has not happened to me... but it has to my SIL!!)
Ank, had I realized that you were going to take to beatin' on the youngins, I would have offered my advice sooner..what ya'll need to do..is duck tape em' first so they don't be yelling "Oh please don't beat on me mommy". You young moms need to be schooled on everything! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

On a serious note..hope your day is getting better. I have been busy this morning, but I have been thinking about you. I have had the days your are having today and sometimes I swear if it wasn't for my friends, I would have lost my mind. Another hug for you.

GT...I got nothing for entertainment. I did however finish the laundry, elmo is going strong!
