Thanks for all the car tips everyone! So when I went to the bank for pre-approval, I decided I was going to try to refinance the house at the same time. Luckily I got approved for both loans! Bad news is that I need to get my house appraised and the appraiser is coming Monday afternoon! Major cleaning has to get done, which is going to be hard to find time because I am going out of town for Easter. I see a long night of cleaning in my future, I better stock up on caffeine!

Took Makena to her easter party at school today. She looked so cute! I expected all these little girls to be all dressed up but she was the only one. lol

Yesterday Mini started Easter break. She slept until 9:30 but by 3 she looks at me and asks, "How do you do it?! This is exhausting! All you do all day is change diapers and feed these kids."
And just be careful that it doesn't backfire with Mini! My oldest recently said "I don't know if I'll have kids... ever..."
I am trying to get organized (and motivated really) for shopping. DH is snoozing and my oldest is doing her schoolwork. Toddler is watching wonderpets and baby is taking a short nap.
My toddler just came over tome and says: "Mommy, will you do me a favor?"
I said, "What is it?"
She said, "Get me a snack and I will eat it..."
My toddler has been on my every nerve lately - testing everything and downright disobeying. Soooo... I've decided to really crack down on her behavior. We have been practicing obedience A LOT - and not just obedience - obedience immediately, completely, and with a happy heart. It seems to be coming along well, but man - it is totally exhausting.
And just be careful that it doesn't backfire with Mini! My oldest recently said "I don't know if I'll have kids... ever..."
btw- she has twin 3yr old boys also....
Nothing exciting on today's agenda. I'm hoping I can convince DH to clean the damn basement this weekend. I don't care when we ever finish building the family room, I just want the construction zone clean. Well, that's not entirely true. Once it's done more crap goes bye bye. We are storing some odds and ends because they are going (or might go) in that room when it's done.
Do you know of any free game sites? I know about Free Game of the Week [sandlotgames.com]. I'm not a "gamer". I like hidden object games. I've been playing Atlantis and I'm tired of it. I got a few of the old freebie Big Fish games but nothing very recent.

Broccoli Hot Dish
1 (10 oz.) Package frozen Broccoli
1 stick melted butter
1 1/2 cups Minute Rice (uncooked)
1 (8 oz.) jar of Cheez Whiz
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can Mushrooms
1 can Water Chestnuts
1/2 cup chopped Onion
1 cup chopped Celery
Mix it altogether and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Our kids are: Kayla (8), Brianna (7), Caleb (6), Kaitlyn (5), Marianna (4), Yasmin (3), Jayden (1) will be 2 in May, Lillianna will be 1 this month in 8 days!!
Kayla is the "perfect" child except she never wants to clean up her mess... Brianna is a hyper, super smart kid... who is always into mischeif, Caleb is a whole 'nother story, he is ALWAYS in trouble in school, he harasses everyone except if he has video game in his hand, Kaitlyn is very passive, loves animals, thinks she is their mommy, loves to help out, all around sweet, Marianna is a little monster in the most petite body, she has you suckered in by her sweet looks, and is an angel until tired... then all hell breaks loose lol, Yasmin is my shadow... she wants to do everything with me... and to kiss me and be just like me. Jayden is a very passive easy going kid... and will eat everything in sight ALL the time. Lillianna is a very sweet easy going baby, she never cries!!

He was making right turn, looked at left,turned right didn't notice truck making revere in the right lane. Truck was fast so was DH, since he was merging right uphill. His car did end up going under the truck (atleast front portion). Truck driver did use the break, but still car got pulled inside with DH inside the car while using the break all the way.
Actually cop called me to the spot coz DH was being attended in the ambulance. When i went to the spot, all I see was his car, which was totaled underneath the truck with 3 cop cars, an ambulance and DH was nowhere in the sight. I really thought I lost him..
DH has some minor injury, not serious. Thank god, thanking god for every moment...
I'm dieting and the kids seem to go 10 places at once and DH wants taquitos or something equally gross so I gave up which I do frequently LOL
I bought 10 packs of butter yesterday and I DID NOT notice a limit either!! Had my mother with me and she bought 10 lbs too - OOPS! I didn't even read the ad, I saw it was $1.99 on penny pinchin mama and ran with it!

Ummmmm, I don't want rain on your parade but since this is a new HyVee thing, I think you might want to know. Did your total seem a little high to you? The butter rang up at regular price, $3.25. Then it subtracted $1.26 but it only did it on the first one. All the others were full price.
Veggies did the same thing, I know that for sure because I screwed up. Cashier asked me if I realized that veggies were limit 4 and I didn't. I hadn't noticed that one. I had 5 pea and 5 green bean. I grabbed two cans to put back. Instead of grabbing one of each, I grabbed 2 peas. So 4 of my beans reduced to the sale price, 1 didn't.
Bastards. I like it better before when it all rang up sale price and they only stuck to the limits if they thought they might run out.
Just need to assemble the kids baskets tonight...That will be a task because all the goodies that I have been accumulating are hidden in different places, some of which I don't remember
