Found new $10 Disney peelies on Mickey mouse great outdoors DVD on an endcap. Also $2 Dixie on the plates.

So far I am safe. We are under a tornado watch, keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens.

I did NOT tell the bunnies to come to your house, but unfortunately, my family members are a bunch of freeloaders, so good luck with that!

Too bad we don't live out in the middle of nowhere. I suppose I could let the dogs outside for more time during the day to scare 'em off.

My dd graduated from pre-K today. The wind is blowing so hard today (40-50 mph) that the little graduation caps that they wore kept blowing off their little heads! I got all teary-eyed. She is growing up too fast.

All this talk about breast feeding makes me miss having a baby for just a minute. Then I remember that I will no longer have a daycare/babysitter payment once September. What will I do with all that extra cash?

I bet those pesky little bunnies are hopping around your garden @ night. I don't see too manyduring the day. Just early morning and once the sun goes down.

My dad has an acre vegetable garden and has had more problems with raccoons than anything else. I want to say he has chicken wire around his rows of romaine and bib lettuce to keep the bunnies out.

dipes, in case you want to keep a safety pack or two at home... wags has a deal on their generic ones - 2/$10... and there's an ivc that takes off an additional $2. making it $3 a pack. there's also an additional ivc (that only some people have - some special booklet) taking off another $1. at any rate at $3/pk not bad to get a few pks if you want to keep on hand.

on amazon, or at a natural foods kind of store, you can get something called motherlove nipple cream. motherlove is the company name. it's a nursing cream for soreness, chapping etc and has great reviews. i haven't tried it but got it as a gift for friends and they loved it, too. maybe that will help with the pain?
if you have amazon prime (student or mom) shipping will be free, otherwise free shipping at $25.

the rule with insurance companies? call again. get a friendly guy, explain the delay on their end, be persistent and you will get an extension.
generally, in all things like this, when i get a curmudgeonly woman, i just graciously (and subserviently) end the conversation so she doesn't make any spiteful notes on the account. then i call back till i get someone good. usually you can tell within a few sentences whether it's going to be someone helpful or strident.

don't take no for an answer! just call back! you paid them a ton and you know how much a few hundred dollars matters to their budgets? not at all! it'll make a big difference in yours, so call!

Went to old navy and then to dinner with DH and the girls.. Had a nice meal.. decided to hit target.. cashier selection was unknown and I chose a new face.. For some reason my TQ didn't want to scan. I think he tried once or twice and gave up. Girl in line behind me was a target cashier, and she told him to just enter them manually as a store coupon and he did... then, the weird part happened Confused

There is a certain cashier who works at CS sometimes. She used to be a real jedi, but became very strict after awhile and scrutinized everything. I stopped checking out with her.. About 6 months ago, I was checking out at one of the lanes near CS and she was working at the CS desk.. about half way through my stack, the cashier's phone rang, and she answered, said okay and acted really strange after that.. was hesistant to k1 anything.. I thought it was odd at the time, but let it go.. so, tonight that same cashier was at CS when I went in.. then went I went to check out, she was in the lane beside mine relieving a girl for break.. She turned from her line and watched my whole transaction.. she kept mouthing something.. then, when the girl came back from break, the CS girl walked away.. not 2 minutes later while he was scanning my coupons, his phone rang.. he answered about the time he was on my last 2 coupons.. He just looked at the girl in line behind me (who is a cashier there too) like he was looking for approval... then he scanned them and they went through beepless.. Whole thing just made gave me the creeps and makes me not want to go back for awhile.. weird thing is.. I haven't been there in weeks.. and the run wasn't spectacular anyway.. got some TGIF, PF makeup, gum, pain reliever, and my DH bought a 115.00 TV.. then again, maybe I will go in every day and do small runs with known legit beepers laugh out loud

Yeah, DH told me I needed to find a new target laugh out loud problem is, that is my only close one and they are usually friendly.. Just that one certain person.. I kinda wanted to hide out near his register and see what he said to the cashier in line behind me cause when the phone rang, she seemed interested in who was calling him too.. She is actually the one who told him to answer it.

Hmm.. J&J items maybe.. and some of those orieda fries with the TQ.. and maybe some kraft short bar code stuff too Wink

Sounds weird, but I know folks who swear by peeing in a container and then sprinkling it around the perimeter of the garden.

I used to use hair - usually you can call a salon and ask them to save you some. It's a common request around here and sometimes the salons will even say they've already promised some and may not have any at the end of the day to give away.

That sounds like a good idea in a way. I am thinking that maybe the cashier had issues and got in trouble for K1ing or something. Weren't some folks reporting a while ago that LP in some stores was very strict on K1's? Maybe your store was hit by some major fraudsters and you just happen to be the face they remember.

So ya'll think it's worth calling the insurance about the whole car thing? Even though, according to them, my policy only allows for the rental for up to 30 days (which I think is up) or 5 days past the offer given - which is also up.

I don't know... *sigh* Maybe this is one of those things that DH should call and handle. He hates to call - especially since he's on the phone all day, but I hate it too. I also sound like I'm 4, so that probably doesn't help. Maybe a strong male voice will get them to acquiesce. (can you believe I spelled that correctly the first time?)

I just don't care right now. I want some plum sake.
