I have been coming to Slickdeals for a long time...

432 1,827 July 30, 2011 at 06:53 AM in Question
Just recently I have begun frequenting this section of Slickdeals. I am a member of other boards relating to couponing also, and I have received nothing but welcome from these other boards. From reading these threads here at Slickdeals in this section daily for the the past several weeks, I am frankly afraid to post.

There seems to be a small group of people here that act like it is a crime if you don't know which thread to post in, the proper couponing etiquette, ask a question that may have been answered somewhere else, and basically anything they don't care for.

I have found quite a few awesome deals that I want to post and share here, but rarely do because of the behavior exhibited in these threads. Just food for thought. Try to remember you were once a newbie at this, and take care when you think about jumping down someone's throat.

I call shenanigans in this thread - OP is obviously a known troll. I skimmed first few responses but didn't see any requests to see if OP was a chick and if so, where are the pics? Mad

same goes for me. when i'm on here, i tend to mod alerts, private messages and other sd business so spending all my time (in a mega/master thread) trying to find an answer or whatnot is not feasible if i know i can get a quicker answer.

to me...if you know the answer, then reply. if you don't, ignore it. if i get the answer, great. if i don't, i won't lose sleep. it's those who choose to reply with snarkiness that stirs the pot, not the one who asked.
Sure Serra, you keep telling yourself it's the snarkiness that scared off the OP, not the loungers. Stick Out Tongue

I deleted my "snarkiness" font.

Why won't you love me, Serra?

Have to share this. Can't stop laughing. From Yahoo Answers:

Question:

How to get rid of greenish pool water?

We recently got an above ground pool (non-permanent) and the water has been fine the last few weeks. (I've been checking the water with the test strips and adding only what I need to keep things in balance. I uncovered the pool this morning and found that we have some green/brownish colored goop swirling around in our pool. (We haven't used it since Saturday (??) and it has been covered since then too).

Could someone let me know what I need to use (chemicals) to clear this up effectively..? (If I need to 'shock' the water - what do I need/use).. We also have hard-water and have a water softener as well.

Thanks..!!
