As far as the purple clothes go.. I haven't seen those I guess I did get a few pair of jeans for DH and DS today with the new TQ. Some of our levis were only 50%, but there were some mixed in that were 75%.. 6.xx before coupon.

I so wish it would rain here.. It is incredibly hot and miserable... my car temp said 104 earlier.

The movie here starts at 9:30, but you need to get there by 9:00 am to make sure you get a seat cause the daycares often go too.. and the theatre is 30 mins away... so, we need to leave at 8:30 am.

also, saw lots of new BOGO Physicians Formula peelies. Seems that there are 3 different coupons this time. Expire 9/30. Happy Hunting!

On the Disney talk.. we have stayed on property and off.. for us, the best trip was when we rented one of the vacation homes with a pool in the back. We had plenty of room, had our own private ppool, were able to get some groceries, and were 10 minutes from the park.
We are going back this fall and there are 6 of us too, so we will do the house again. Costs around 800 for the week!

Had such a relaxing weekend here! My brother had a wedding to shoot in-town yesterday so he and his wife were in town; had some good quality time and even got to play around with his good Canon 60D....and 18-270mm f/3.5 lens (that was for you m2c :lol I leave you all with a couple new pics of dd....these were totally impromptu today. Got Photoshop installed onto my new lappy again today too and messed with some new stuff in there. I tell ya, when you have learned on a low-end DSLR/lens combo and just learned to make do w/what you have it is sooooooo fun to play with the good stuff!! Makes it so much easier! I WANT that exact lens now though :teehee :

And, I discovered something new *to me* tonight.. In my years of target shopping, I have found my fair share of the special MP juice boxes, but they have ALWAYS been the punch flavor.. Anyway, I haven't found any in quite some time and was actually down to one of my last packs. Since the new smaller juice boxes have come out, it seems like they haven't stocked the big ones anymore.. But, tonight I found a whole shelf of them and they were the apple juice flavor. I don't typically even check those anymore, but they were just sitting there staring out me. I must confess.. I was a shelf clearer and took them all :rolleyes : Well, actually I didn't clear, I left the full priced ones :lmao : and, they used to ring at .59 each for me and these rang at .57 each!

I feel better this morning. Once I threw up last night, I felt better and went to bed early.

But Sharpies.... I can't really say that I NEED Sharpies but I'm pretty sure I can't resist them either.

Just got a call that my brother has had a setback.. He had been doing well over the weekend.. Slowly he was eating again and feeling stronger. They had planned on possibly sending him home yesterday.. but, he started getting sick yesterday and throwing up.. The cat scan this morning showed another obstruction and the surgeon is coming in to talk to him today.. Now, he doesn't get to eat, they put his tubes back in, and had to start him back on pain meds I am afraid of what is going on physically as well as what this will do to him mentally.. I hate to see him give up..
If you are a praying person, I would really appreciate special prayers for him today!

Man, the news of the latest good TQ has spread to my stores.. One store I went into tonight was wiped clean of all the cheap peroxide, alcohol, up and up pantyliners, and pillows .. I was hoping to get a few for fillers and had to rework my plan a little.. thankfully, they haven't discovered the wet ones in the BTS section or the sharpies there that are labeled as being 1.54..

Saw a ton of baby clearance today.. many packs of the gerber onesies were 50% off..

I agree with this 100%. Our best experiences have been staying in a condo or house.

Its in the ladies' dept, most often in the section closest to maternity/plus size. There are 2 maxi dresses, one solid purple and the other a purple and white print. There are also 2 different maxi skirts, one white and then one purple/white print. Plus they have assorted tops that match the two skirts, as well as shorter skirts, etc. Oh, and they have 2 or 3 other styles of dresses that are closer to knee-length. I just love the shade of purple they used and I can't wait to get the purple dress.

On my second cup of coffee.. and, I have partially cleaned one bathroom! DH told me last night that his mom was coming over today to drop off a chest of drawers that she was gonna get rid of.. It is better than what my kids have, so we are gonna take it. But, I hate her coming today while I am not here and always worry about how the house looks when she comes over.. And, lately, I really don't like her to see my stockpile stuff.. I don't know, but for some reason, I think she thinks I am a crazy hoarder, and also, I think when she sees how much stuff I have, it makes her always think the gifts everyone gets were free DH says it isn't that way.. but, even last week when we got together for her birthday, and my nephew.. DH was talking to her on the phone the day before and mentioned that he needed to check and see if we still needed to shop for gifts.. and she made the comment that I probably had something there I was gonna give them.. He says she just means that she knows I shop and buy things when they are a deal.. I take defense cause it sounds to me like she is saying I just give them stuff I have laying around and don't put time, thought, or money into it.. Maybe I am just overly sensitive
When she asked before about the big boxes of dipes in the garage from Amazon deals, he told her that I got them really cheap and almost free and that I had some I was gonna sell and some for gifts.. Including a gift for SIL.. Then I heard him say something about 'well, she is gonna give her something else to go with it" I just thought that was crazy.. I mean, regardless of what I paid for them (which some of them were not free) those big boxes go for almost 50.00, so that alone was a nice gift.. And, I had other things for her as well. I ended up giving her a big box, tons of wipes, several cans of infant cereal, infant pain reliever, gas drops, etc. .

Oh well.. Maybe they will just drop off the chest and leave

I third this. We stayed at our timeshare Wyndham at Bonnet Creek and had a wonderful time. You can stay for the week there as well, you don't need to own a timeshare. It was wonderful for the kids to have their own room and we could have our time in the evenings. This resort is on Disney property and has free transportation to the parks. They also have 2 awesome pools, a kids waterpark, and lazy river. It's a beautiful resort. The kids keep asking to go back to Disney every day.


Glad your power is back on! We had a nasty storm too, but I was in Target the whole time so I missed it.

I saw the purple clothes yesterday, they are sooo cute. I thought they were maternity clothes, and I was so bummed when I realized they weren't. I might just buy some for after I have the baby!

We are going with our church's youth group. We work with them, help out at activities, etc., and hubby has always wanted to go with them to camp in the summer. But its a whole week and he's never had the vacation time to do it. Well, his boss agreed to let him go as long as he makes up the hours. All 40 of them. So we're going. Its in TN, but apparently its going to be hotter here than there, so that's a little bit of a relief. The teenagers all LOVE it and always have a great time. Lots of team sports competition, preaching, eating, horses, etc. I'm not a big outdoors gal, not a big sports gal, and definitely not a sports-while-you're-outdoors-in-blazing-heat kind of gal, so we'll see how it goes.

And that's just a bummer about your MIL. My family was like that at first, as well (my OWN family, not even my in-laws), but they have come to see how much work I put into it and they do value what I give them. Since my in-laws are way far away, I don't really have to deal with their reactions. They know what I do, and I think their attitudes are generally ones of disbelief. Gotta see it to believe it, baby!
