I would, but I am broke tonight. My stupid bank got bought out and they changed the rules. Used to be able to get $500 out when you deposited a check, now they lowered it to $100. I will have to wait until tomorrow to get you that ticket! Yes, I am taking the $100 and celebrating!

I have tried everything I can think of to get out of going for Miranda, but my niece just won't give in laugh out loud WE can even make Miranda fun laugh out loud

I don't know how to break this to you tactfully so I'll just come right out and say it -- I have NO interest in going back to the Midwest. I lucked out and found SoCal and except for forays back to the Boston area for large celebrations and funerals, I don't leave CA. Friends and relatives have learned it's futile to even invite me. When you look up stick-in-the-mud in the dictionary, you'll see my picture as the example. But I do appreciate the suggestion. When next you head to the LA area, we'll talk.

The purse hasn't sold yet and probably won't for a while. I don't even think about it anymore. If I do get something for it, my sister and I will celebrate, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm too busy to worry about that right now. All that counts is that my niece LOVES her wristlet (auto gag reflex when I type that word vomit) and has already worn it twice. My nephew says she actually looks forward to business functions now (he's one of like 7,000 VPs in a large bank).

Since her daughter was born with Down's, Debbie's life has been geared mainly toward the home - she had to quit a job she loved, but her priorities changed of course. That purse really means a lot to her, so even if I don't make enough to pay for it, it's still worth it. nod

I do promise to let you know if/when it's passed on to someone else.

Well,I tried everything and I mean everything. I was nice but firm and I am good on the phone, better than the computer - and don't laughlaugh out loud - There is NO WAY they will budge. I placed a small order as I have ordered from the in the past, and I got a special but it had to be a main item. So I figured with the free ham and no shipping, still not bad. She said if I cut the 2 lb ham in half (slightly thaw it) then freeze the other half, I will have 2 meals. So at least we tried.

I was on a roll with the phone lately. I called Camel the other day. the rep said they are having a hard time sending out over 45,000 gift cards and trying to figure out how to do it. She asked if I am sure I won. Told her i have printed proof. Asked if you win a $10 gc from the tin can you still win the bracelet or even the $1,000. She said she never heard of anyone winning the $1,000 (I said I know one person) and she was surprised (what kind of rep??) She said once you win the $10 instant yu cannot win any more.
