A couple weeks ago I got a facebook message from someone I went to high school with in suburban Denver. I switched schools after my sophomore year, so I only went to that school for a year. He apparently had my yearbook and wanted to return it to me. I somewhat fuzzily remember him and losing my yearbook at the end of the school year. I now have another facebook friend in the mile high city. The yearbook came in the mail today...what a strange relic.
Being way out in the country here, there is wildlife everywhere. For awhile I kept seeing a coyote in the same spot every night on my way home from work. I started leaving Chinese food by the side of the road at a slow vehicle turnout. Every night the coyote would be there waiting for me. It never scared me and I would get pretty close to it. That canine liked chow mein!
