Thats spread out over 4 or 5 different games in the last 5 months! Would like to win the trip for my sister to go to the race track and get to take a lesson and drive a real race car. Shes not too good at making left hand turns and thats all race cars make!!! LOL

Our house was always open to my friends but none ever stayed more than a day, everyone always went home
now kids go out and go home when they feel like it
this has been going on since my son was about 10 or 11
one kid begged me to adopt him he couldn't get it that he had parents and I couldn't, he stayed here weeks at a time
he's now graduating college and headed for law school
he still comes and stays when he's in town

I love Zeek! He's a sweet feller and a superb swimmer. There is a nice pool in the creek, within walking distance of the house. I start by throwing sticks, but he will just swim in circles. It makes him happy, and that is the charm of a Labrador.
He still itches though, and we have done everything but blood tests. Someone suggested fish oil, and I haven't tried that either. When he's calm, he's fine. He itches when he's excited. I've already begun to put the vet's daughter through college, but that's where I'll be headed on days off next week. It makes me sad to see him uncomfortable. This is my fifth Lab, and have never had this kind of a problem before. He doesn't bark, except when he's asleep, so he's not a watch dog.

Zeka didn't respond to allergy meds. We've had him on antibiotics, been giving him medicated baths, food without grains like corn...different stuff.
He was a stray. There is a prison up the road about 12 miles from here, minimum security, the guys are on work crews at times. That is where Zeek came from, the inmates work with dogs through the Humane Society. Well, about a week ago one of the prisoners escaped. They call us, there are signs in the area to not pick up hitch hikers, I lock my doors at night. They caught the guy yesterday by the school, which is on the highway, about 20 miles from the prison, about 5 miles from here. He might have been in the woods the whole time, five or six days.
