Fall 2011 new TV shows (((new update about Awake on post 185)))

So what do you think about the new shows so far?

I like New Girl, it was a bit awkward and slow at the beginning but by the end of the show, I was hooked. There were some funny jokes and good casting. I love the Small spoiler:


Two Broke Girls, I made the mistake of watching a short clip online about a week ago and thought it looked terrible but DH set it to tape. Turns out the short clip was the least funny line in the whole show, the rest of the show was witty and downright funny.


Unforgettable, meh. I'll watch one more because DH wants to, but wasn't that fussed over it. There were a couple of really annoying points in the show. Huge spoiler:


Free Agents, really liked this one. Good cast and a really good pilot. Just hope they can keep it up without it becoming tired.


The Secret Circle. Typical trying to cash in on Twilight show, only with witches. Couldn't get through one episode.


Same thing with Ringer, had to turn it off part way through the pilot.


Some shows I'm looking forward to, haven't aired yet....

Awake (no air date at this time but the trailer is really interesting and the lead actor is one of my faves, he's British)
Grimm (trailer looks good, even though the premise sounds silly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kh3rFsv_WSE it airs 10/28, date changed)
Pan Am (Like Madmen in the air?Dontknow airs 9/25)
Person of Interest (the trailer looks really good, interesting premise airs 9/21)
Prime Suspect (there's a British Show by the same name, so I guess they're doing an American version Dontknow Airs 9/22)

I'm not sure if Wayans leaving is the reason, but yes, I've grown quite disenchanted with the show now, although Zooey being in it is enough for me to continue watching it.

I like Prime Suspect..I think the intent is to show her as basically a hard person with a touch of flair and the little or sparse make up and the hat add to those characteristics.
I also like Blue Bloods, Against the Wall ...I kept forgetting to record Unforgettable laugh out loud but the previews looks a bit interesting.

I've been disappointed with the new series I've tried this year. 2 Broke Girls was silly. PanAm was boring. I feel like there's been more, but that's all I can think of.

Did you watch Buffy, back in the day? If so, the guy who did it is the one behind Grimm.

Nope. I think my real problem is that I'm just not that into TV. I guess that's okay laugh out loud I though suburgattory looked good, but from what I've heard, it's not. I like Modern Family and The Middle. That's about it.

2 Broke Girls is funny, Whitney (named after the star of the show who is also one of the 2 Broke Girls writers) is kinda funny, and Prime Suspect was really boring. From what I've heard I'll try Terra Nova and Person of Interest.
