Glad to see you are OK honey. I was in my barn working on stuff when it started shaking a bit and thought, must be a combine going by, looked out and didn't see anything. Thought I was going nuts. Found out later what happened and thought of you. Figured it must of been bad for ya since we felt it all the way up here.

NYPD and FDNY Firefighters are not invited to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero! They weren't invited on that day in 2001 either. THEY JUST SHOWED UP AND DID THEIR JOB! I think they belong there more than the Politicians who are invited!! WTF.
God forbid anything happens during this event, 'cause you know who would drag their sorry ass out, again!

Okay, people, here's another of my long ones.

After Marlboro ended, and with wonderful support from all of you wonderful FFers, I began entering contests/sweeps with a vengeance. I've probably entered at least 1,846,743 of them in the past 7 months. That means that at least 1,846,743 companies/groups of employees know of my existence AND my birthday. Some of them must have decided that I deserve some credit for all the clicking and submitting I've done. In today's mail (less than 24 hours before that aforementioned birthday), I received:

Box 1, containing a really pretty lipstick that my sister will love (she wears lipstick, I don't), some other stuff I can't remember because I didn't want it, so dumped it into the collection box, and a FULL-SIZE, Cover Girl, black, mascara. I soooo needed that. I won't mention it to my sister, of course. What she doesn't know won't hurt her feelings. (It seems I received this because I was one of the first 500 people to enter a contest which I must have lost.)
Box 2, my tote bag of goodies from Hollywood Fashions. It had all that strange stuff, plus the wardrobe tape that I love and one of the most singularly pink towels I've ever seen. It would do a flamingo proud. Even the tote is nice, although also pink. I'll keep the tape and maybe the tote.
Box3, big and heavy. NO clue where this came from. It contains SEVEN full-size bottles/jars of L'Oreal shampoo, conditioner, hair masques, etc. for damaged hair. My sister will go crazy. There was no note inside and the return address was just the fulfillment company. Linda won't care.

So…..forget the BUEs I got – I'm soooooooo over them. I'm surrounded by very nice winnings that warm the very cockles of my heart.

happy humpola day one and all, Congrats on the wins, thanks for the postes not a lot of time. ( whats new) just wanted to say hi and always fun ready your posts just wish I could contribute more but work must come first
