I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

I'm sorry but I cannot see what exactly happened and like I said, as soon as we are alerted that there was an error with your payment, we shut off your services. This is to immediately notify you that something is wrong. We do this also to safeguard against fraud (not the case with you). I apologize again for this happening and hopefully it was a learning experience for you so that it doesn't happen again in the future. Because I don't know what the problem was, I really don't know how I could learn something from it. However, it definitely reinforced my objection to bundling telephone services with Mediacom. I would have had a bit of a problem trying to contact Mediacom about the problem I was having when my service was shut down.
Please alert higher-ups that they need to fix their alerting system when service is to to be discontinued for whatever reason. Customers need to be forewarned that there is a problem.
