September 22, 2011, 1:08 pm: System Notice: This thread content has been automatically archived from another thread which reached post limit, and will be preserved for reference and archival purposes. The discussion should continue in the original thread

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Whats Costco? EEK! I hated my lexpro until I figured out how to refill the cartridges myself. Cost me like $3 each. Gave that to my son and bought a new HP. Would rather refill myself at home but cant figure out if I can or not and now with HP exiting alot of computer stuff Im starting to think I made a bad choice!! But thats how it usually goes!!! LMAO
Don't watch much tv any more as this takes up most of my "free?" time. But, just watched a show and now I know we are not crazy - there are lots of people like us. It was HIGH STAKES SWEEPERS. Just like us - waiting for the mailman and fed ex. all sorts of prizes from appliances to cars to trips, cash, and little ridiculous things that we get all excited about. A bobble-head turkey, perfume, etc. I really liked it. on TLC here. don't know what that stands for. but,the downside is now anyone who watched it might be in competition with us.nod 2nd time I had to have papers notarized at the bank for winning jewelry and sherman williams, and no one knew about sweeps. 2nd time manager said to be careful, there has to be a catch. I reassured her there is none.

Have you figured out how to refill the cartridges??? Im trying to figure it out so I can save money
That's a joke. I've tried like 3 different products and (1) you get more ink on you and the table than ever gets in the cartridge, (2) the ink quality is not nearly as good, and (3) if you go to Office Depot or one of those places you can often get their brand name cartridges for a lot less than the printer brand name's.

But you can try and who knows, they may work for you.

ok just have to share this with you all just incase you are in the same situation as I am on a monthly basis
I just received my first prescription order from CANADA. You see America allows middle men and companies to patient ( not a good speler lol ) their product and not allow for Generic. This leaves us the consumer trapped / or without. My husband takes two much needed prescriptions that here in America does not have an Generic Form. Or that is what I am told everytime I get it filled. Lexapro which runs us 115.00 each month and Seroquil which costed us 340.00 for a four month supply. we upped milligrams and cut pill in 4ths to try and afford it. Well Canada doens't allow for this middle man and also allows for generics; I just paid 87.00 for 3 month supply of Lexapro ( generice ) was 115.00 a month here and 270.00 for a years supply of Seroquil ( Generic) WOW.. I just had to share the saving of this incredible find. Canadameds.com my doctor faxed up the prescription and with in 2 weeks I have his meds. I don't feel so lost anymore and helpless on how am i going to get his med each month. Amazing very easy and quick. this was information was given to me by my doctor,
Just had to share. Very tired from helping inlaws ( which are like my parents. ) yes I am fortunate to have Inlaws that I like. lol Good night all sweet dreams and big wins!

There was some kind of lawsuit here and they arent allowed to sell the other brands, only the manufacturers brand. They arent even allowed to sell the refillable cartridges. I have to buy them on line. My sister uses alot of black ink printing up her school classes on line. In order to stay licensed she has to take classes every year and pass a test. Not like the Tokyo Sauna girls that arent licensed but the guys dont care!!!! Big Grin

I wanted to write this right after I posted the list, but I left for a while. My biggest win was that the storm passed me by. Just noticed today that my awning over my front door lost some stitches, but I found some miracle canvas tape at the boat shop- hope it works. It is nice of you to say that and also you read my mind. Thanks.

I saw that Vitamix on demo at Costco again the other day. they will not be back for at least 6 months at this location. I really want that, but it is still $400. She made me hot soup (just what I needed, hot) in 2 minutes with fresh veggies and then a smoothie. So great. Some day I want to get one. but, a lot of money. It goes I think she said 270 miles per hr. on highest speed. Quite amazing. Have to pay off the generator for the storm.

I did not know Costco refills cartridges. Do you have to send them away to them or do they do it at the stores?

In the store at the photo counter in an hour unless they're real busy

they're instructions
take cartridge out of printer
do not touch contacts or clean it (they clean it with something special)
do not put it in a plastic bag use an envelope
do not let it dry out ( there is a sponge inside and it will get hard and wont soak up the ink)
